Owner was outstanding. He picked us up at the train station (our train was late) and returned us the next morning after preparing a wonderful breakfast. It's a winery and the wine was outstanding. We bought extra and brought it home with us. Our experience there was so much more than I can list here. We will be returning to Castel de Daval!

We had a very warm welcome from the host, Gwénaëlle. She showed us the place and told us everything we needed to know about the town and the valley. The place looks really good and the kitchen is fully equipped. It is a great place to stay if you are looking to explore the valley.
