Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.
The town is centered on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road heads east to neighboring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.
Booking.com also has hotels near the BIC (Bournemouth International Center) in the West Cliff area. This convention center and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon with far-reaching views.
At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Nearby, there's a Grade I registered historic church, and St. Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of "Frankenstein."
On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Center, is Bournemouth Airport.

I love Bournemouth, it has everything, from a beautiful , sunny beach, to a walk through the urban and tropical gardens to the shopping centre. There are a wide range of high street stores and some individual shops to be found in the shopping area.
There’s an extensive choice when it comes to restaurants.
There is crazy golf in the park for young and old alike.
In short, Bournemouth has it all, whether young or old, Bournemouth is the place to be.

Constantly harassed by homeless and intoxicated people asking for money and following you when you tell them no.
Did not feel safe at night when out and about. Prices in bars were not far off that in London . So disappointed as everything was unjustly expensive and is the reason my partner and I definitely wont be returning to Bournemouth....

Bournemouth is fantastic for all ages.
Bournemouth is fantastic for all ages. The sandy beach is a long stretch from Hentingsbury Head to Poole. There is a path to walk or cycle at the beach with restaurants dotted around which are within keeping with the relaxed natural environment and not too commercial which is a very clever balance. There are pretty paths and parks to walk through from beach to shop/living areas. There is plenty to do daytime and evening. I particularly like that my hotel has a swipe key so I can return/vacate 24hrs (obviously being respectful of quiet times).
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on , and I am fussy about my beds!
The air con was lovely and desperately needed for those stuffy nights. This hotel is perfectly located right in the city centre . There’s a beautiful park just below the hotel where you can walk all the way to Bournemouth Pier.
The beach is 10 minutes walk and all the restaurants and bars are 3 minutes walk from the hotel. We are definitely looking to book again in August.
The location is near to the beach, the view from the building yard towards the sea is beautiful, the apartment is lovely and clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the parking space is covered and strategically located, grocery stores is nearby. I think we will be happy to stay here again when we visit Bournemouth.
Just a little friendly suggestion: it will be even wonderful if we can also have extra trash bags and toiletries, especially when we stay multiple days..
This hotel is perfectly situated for an easy walk to music events at O2 Academy Bournemouth. The staff were very welcoming and efficient, the hotel was quiet even though many guests were staying there. The breakfast buffet manager was friendly and the food offering was very good with everything well laid out and to a very good standard. Good hot shower and beds were average but fine for a night. Free parking was great.
Really nice hotel, with a spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean room. I've stayed in many hotels in Bournemouth, and this place is a thousand times better than what you get for the same price in the main town. Great location, with a pretty beach and a lovely 30-min walk to Bournemouth along the seafront, and buses every 5 minutes. The management were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was stunning inside with its period features and we received a very warm welcome from the owner.. The location was perfect as it's just a few minutes walk to the beach and a twenty minute walk to Bournemouth town centre. The onsite parking was a bonus too. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
The Hotel is sited in one of the best locations for Bournemouth. It's just a short walk to the beach (and away from the crowded parts); as well as this it's not too far to walk to the town centre. The En-suite room was good, and the staff friendly. As well as this it's good value for money!
Hotel and staff were delightful🤗.
Delicious afternoon tea with the best selection of vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had 😋.
Room was excellent 😍.
Spa treatments were relaxing and you got the full 60mins 😁 not at all rushed, and the relaxation room was pure indulgence 😌
Room was good size, clean and has air conditioned (which is rare in the uk but it helped us a lot as we were travelling on one of the hottest days in 2023. Reception was friendly and professional. Hotel is very close to beach 4 minutes walking
The hotel was very close to Bournemouth city centre. It has a swimming pool and a bar downstairs to get some snacks and a beer 🍺 in the evening. The room was comfortable and they also allow pets. We had our cat with us for £10 per night.
Pool Large TV in bedroom with good reception (not always easy in Bournemouth). Good breakfast. Good position walking distance from beach Nd town centre. I have been to Bournemouth many times and look forward to returning to this hotel
Absolutely everything Debbie was a lovely host and so accommodating. Our room was just perfect. Spotlessly clean couldn't fault a thing. The best hotel we have stayed in all the times we have come to Bournemouth.
Everything was perfect!
We have stayed in many hotels in Bournemouth and this one far exceeds the rest.
Lovely decor, staff super friendly, bed is amazing and it's free parking what more could you ask for.
Dog friendly..so if travelling with your best friend a good hotel to have in Bournemouth. Comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Close to the seafront and the centre of Bournemouth.
Ideal for a weekend break. Metres from the beach and all amenities. Room has all the extras you need/want (fridge, kettle etc.). Will use this hotel if/when I ever return to Bournemouth.
The hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable although a little dated. Staff were great. Hotel is pet friendly and has a great location with easy access to beach and central Bournemouth.
I’ve stayed In Bournemouth many times all over and this time I found a hotel with the most perfect location .. it was so comfy and clean with wonderful friendly staff
