Landgasthof zum Schützen is located in Oberried, in the Black Forest near Freiburg. It offers a restaurant serving Baden cuisine. The location is just lovely, in the black forest. The breakfast was really rich, with a great variety of tasty food. The room was very big, and quiet, clearly well maintained. The staff was very friendly and did some untrivial things in order to make our stay (and leave) more comfortable.

This traditional 3-star hotel in the village of Oberried offers free Wi-Fi, Black Forest food, and easy access to hiking and bicycle routes. We stayed in the older part of hotel and loved it. It had character. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful. It was great to have its own parking area. They had alcoholic drinks available on a honor system. The breakfast was good and healthy.

The hosts welcomed us with a smile and a bottle of wine! The property offers everything you need to have a comfortable stay. They offer clean towels, blow dryer, toilet papers, bedsheets, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and kitchen ware. The property is located about 13km from Freiburg and sits in a very quite and easy-to-access street. There is free parking in front of the property. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Very kind and thoughtful staff who helped us with our limited German. If you can afford it we recommend the restaurant with it's excellent menu. Breakfast was good though and made you feel at home. Nearby cafe bar also worth a visit for a beer and good food.
