It was the first town we stayed in The Gambia, while we were traveling with cars. The hosts were super nice and very very helpful. Staying there was really refreshing! If you want to understand how nice and welcoming Gambian people are, you should definitely book this place.

El AbCa's Creek Lodge se encuentra en el interior, a unos 85 km de la costa, y alberga un restaurante. El alojamiento tiene balcón, baño privado con ducha y vistas al río y al jardín. This was a great experience. We had a lovely wood house nestled in a garden full of palms, birds and monkeys. The whole site is situated at the edge of a creek with mangroves. There are interesting activities and excursions, and when you come back you can take a swim in the salty and warm creek water. Very recreative, we did it every day at high tide. Breakfast is o.k. (try the local bush tea!), lunch and dinner are very good. The shuttle service to the airport (1.5 hours) is easy to be arranged. But the best of all is the ramarkable staff at AbCa's. Everyone is so polite and courteous. Thank you guys for everything, we loved to have a little chit-chat with you now and then!

El Fathala Wildlife Reserve está ubicado en Toubakouta y ofrece una experiencia en la naturaleza, pileta exterior y estacionamiento privado gratuito. La tienda de campaña es ideal, también la zona común de piscina y hamacas con vistas a las visitas de los animales. La cena muy rica. Tuvimos un problema con la gestión del Safari y la Manager del hotel se portó muy bien con nosotras.

El Feel Free Lodge se encuentra en la isla de Jinack y ofrece vistas al jardín, restaurante, recepción 24 horas, bar, jardín y solárium. The perfect place to enjoy the paradise in Gambia! Excelent service and delicious food!

El Jinack Lodge se encuentra a 200 metros del parque nacional de Niumi y ofrece alojamiento, restaurante, jardín, terraza y bar. Directly on the kilometer long beach. Perfect bathing conditions (slightly sloping, no currents, no rocks, no dangerous fish/jellyfish, etc.). Free sunbeds. Super nice staff. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner (also vegetarian if desired). The huts are large and comfortable including large mosquito nets. All huts are solar powered. ps. They have German Beer and Wine from South Africa :)

Les Fromagers se encuentra en Missira y ofrece restaurante, pileta al aire libre, bar y salón compartido. The hotel is located in a beautiful village next to a lake and the oldest tree in this region (it's very impressive to see). We stayed at les Fromagers because we wanted to visit the Fathala Wild life reserve that is close by. On our arrival we found out that there are so many other activities to do like going fishing, watching crocodiles, visiting the islands etc. The owner of the place are very friendly and helpful. We experienced their great hospitality and felt very comfortable during our stay. I can recommend you also to try out their restaurant, since you get very tasty seafood there, freshly caught by the local fisherman. We will definitely visit again, when we are in Senegal.

El B & B Mariamacounda se encuentra en Toubakouta y ofrece vistas a la pileta, restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, pileta al aire libre abierta durante todo el año y... The place looks absolutelly great, we just loved it.
