The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The view was breathtaking, specially at sunset. The variety in food was good. The staff were friendly but professional. The spa is worth a visit if you are there. Would definitely visit again.

The property is really clean, even for European standards. It’s one of the cleanest we’ve seen in Sri Lanka. The owner is a really nice and welcoming guy. Oh, and the kitchen is amazing! A great place even for a long-term stay.

We stayed a room near pool area and it was a bit noisy due to the crowded pool on the weekend. Room and bathroom is big and clean, equipped with kettle and tea/coffee. The hotel has an inhouse bar with local and foreign liquor therefore, you can order beer, wine on a reasonable rate. Note that there is no minibar in the room. Ice is available on request from the bar. Hotel has its own generator and you don’t have to worry about power cuts. Specially I have to mention the excellent service of the hotel manager who is very kind and concerned about the customer satisfaction.

Situated in Kalutara, Karl Holiday Bungalow offers peaceful and homely accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. The host Dil an incredible person! He makes everybody feel comfortable as at home, it was very nice experience to stay at this place! The swimming pool was nice addition to our stay, plus the food was incredible! Definitely recommend!
