The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

Free Wi-Fi and parking is available. the view, the room and bathroom, location. everything was cozy and enjoyable. The get together afternoon canapés with beer/wine served by the hotel was really nice. the staff was exceptional friendly and helpful.

Just as described on the website, the venue is located in a small village which can be reached by gravel road. The road itself is well-maintained and we had no trouble driving in. The house itself is not big, but it does have everything one would need, plus a great panoramic view to the lake. The breakfast is served in a little restaurant nearby and it was delicious.
