Room facilities were great. it was difficult to locate the entrance of the hotel on the narrow pass . Breakfast was excellent and tasty. Bed was comfortable. Also late opening of the indoor pool.

The location was perfect and the property was gorgeous. I loved the variety at the buffet breakfast, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the water circuit as well as the massage. The food was amazing.

Situated in a former 18th-century wine estate, this luxury hotel overlooks vineyards and the Douro Valley. Perfect location. Isolated from the touristy places right outside. It was an oasis. I can not imagine staying anywhere else in Pinhao. It made the entire experience special.

With its own orchard and vineyard, this 4-star hotel is situated 800 metres from Lamego’s centre. Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. Such a lovely hotel. At first sight the outside of the hotel is quite ugly but as soon as you go inside it is stunning. We got an upgrade on our room which was fantastic. The swimming pool is the best pool we have ever visited. It is climatised so depending on the heat outside the pool becomes warmer or cooler. I can’t recommend it enough. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Such a shame we were only there for one night.

The stay at Casal dos Capelinhos was nothing less than exceptional, it didn't only match our (very high) expectations, but also exceeded them. The staff was exceptional! They were eager to help us make the best of our stay, at the Casa as well as the Douro valley, and they were g=reat at it. The quinta is beautiful, the pool and views are breathtaking, as was breakfast, dinner, and, of course, the house wines. I highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon :)
