We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds).
However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere.
Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

Great location up in that mountain at 2000 m.
Great location up in that mountain at 2000 m. Superb staff especially Grillo & GIORGIA / very positive experience all together / I would indeed recommend this place to all mountain lovers
out of our 14 nights and many accomodations in Switzerland, this is hands down the best hotel we stayed in! they located our 2 rooms next to each other which was what we asked for and gave us rooms with views of the lake and mountains! our rooms were also one of the biggest and most comfortable ones. the dinners we had at the hotel was very good and breakfast was first rate too. all the staffs we met from the reception to wait staffs and driver exudes the best of swiss hospitality.
Wonderful, charming, historic hotel in the heart of St. Moritz. Staff were incredibly helpful and our room was so large and spacious with a giant sitting room, small dining table with two chairs, and fantastic views of the lake and mountain. The main hotel bar - which a stocked with water, soda, beer, wine and snacks - is self-serve which was unique, yet incredibly efficient. Don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else if I visit again.
Breakfast spread was amazing, very homey! Location is uphill all the way from the train station but we took a cab from station to hotel for CHF25. Restaurants are in walkable distance. Room is suffice, not too small. Stay is comfortable as its clean and has a lift for our heavy luggage! Paid for breakfast for convenience, definitely worth it! We stayed during early Sept so temperature was just nice with opened window at night.
This hotel used to have the best breakfast in Europe, now its not even close. Bare minimum. Spa is nice, but choose your therapist wisely, rooms are not upgraded . Everything in the hotel in short is like this : lets satisfy the bare minimum for 5 stars hotel. Mediocre food. However the stuff - reception, concierge, bellboys, housekeepers, everyone - really great! Bravo and thank you.
The hotel is situated right at the city center. You will not have a hard time looking for places to eat or shop. The breakfast they served was wonderful. One of the best I had during my stay in Switzerland. They have an indoor swimming pool and sauna room. They also offer spa massage services which I really liked because this was the last leg of my trip.
The location, the price and the breakfast were great. Easy to walk to but also close to a bus stop. Our hostess was the BEST. So friendly and funny and spoke multiple languages. She made breakfast and offered espresso and made us feel at home She made our stay in St. Moritz most enjoyable.
What a fantastic historic hotel! The lobby, the dining area, the restaurant, and the rooms were all amazing. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. Staff was super friendly when I checked into the hotel and helpful with directions and recommendations.
Choice of restaurants dinning on site with a good breakfast options. Traditional style hotel with large public areas. Relaxation area on the roof level but did not use this so can’t comment. Staff very helpful and parking is possible on site.
Amazing hotel with perfect location and very helpful staff. The breakfast is worth 5* stars hotel. Recommend to book shuttle from the station (free of charge). The view from restaurant is stunning. Lovely spa was highly appreciated.
The hotel was centrally located to shops and ski lift and hotel offered free shuttle to train station. Breakfast were great well balanced. Restaurant was well priced for the area and no complaints about the meal.
