The food was sensational. Honestly an all round amazing hotel.

Amazingly comfortable and heartwarming hotel. On of the best stays we experienced during our trip to Scotland. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Beautifully decorated and super comfortable beds. Nice location for several attractions.
As for the restaurant it was deliciously home made local cuisine that is a must even if you do not have the chance to stay there
In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

The apartment was perfect. It has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, with a gas cooker that I love, it was big enough and also gets warm very fast (it was very cold outside). The hosts very friendly and helpful. It has a private parking also. Only the bed is too small if you are a tall person :) Definitely would recommend this!
Wonderful place on the south side of Loch Ness. The waterfall is spectacular and the hiking in woodland is astounding. It’s one of the few places around the lake where you can actually hike along the coast..

Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world.
Foyers is in a beautiful part of the world. It is in the country side therefore you can see a part of Scotland that the usual tourist doesn't see. I loved the garden and the rambling old house, looking over Loch Ness. The most important part was the comfortable bed and quite well appointed room. The owners were delightful and made us very comfortable. It is not far from a local pub where you can get a lovely meal. The breakfast that was included was scrumptious and substantial. I wish we had stayed a bit longer.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Chris at Foyers and loved every moment of our stay. The property and setting are beautiful with a view from the dining room of the pretty garden and it's wildlife as well as a direct view to Loch Ness. Our pretty room was great, with everything we needed including a private door to a small enclosed area and the garden - perfect for our dog. Elly whipped up delicious dinner and breakfast and our spaniel, Pringle, loved her breakfast sausage. We were grateful to Chris for his recommendation of dog walking spots which were great. Arrive as guests & leave as friends - we did! Can't wait to return for longer.

It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights.
It's a stunning place, we were there 2 nights. We walked from our hotel down to the Loch and back up through a beautiful wood by the river. It was a strenuous walk, lots of steps up but really lovely. Foyers is a small village spread down the valley from the road. Not a lot to do at night but if come prepared to entertain yourself it's tranquil and restful. Short drive to Inverness and things to do on the Loch in the day. We really enjoyed our time there and we would go back.

A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops.
A quaint quiet noise free village with local shops. Very little traffic. Excellent scenery. Tourist attraction Falls of Foyers. Not far away from Fort Augustus where the Caledonian Canal begins where one can see the road bridge opening and the lock gates opening and various boats navigating the locks on their way up the canal. From Foyers Inverness is a short drive away with its excellent shopping, Castle, indoor market, Theatre, miniature railway, Cruises to look for Dolphins, Fort George a very old military fort constructed to protect the forts inhabitants from attack by an enemy.
Foyers Bay is beautiful and super friendly! It is out the way, but easy to find. We paid extra to be in the superior room as we were there for one night as part of our honeymoon. We loved being able to see the loch from the window and the room was very comfortable and clean. We loved how dog friendly the place is, the dogs had a wonderful time! It was great to see the wildlife around the property and hear the birds whilst enjoying our breakfast. Wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!
Fabulous views of Loch Ness and the mountains. The owner was a wonderfully attentive host and clearly cares about his guests and their experience.
Comfortably furnished, quality linens, modern bathroom and other facilities, while still retaining the character of an older property.
Dinner and breakfast were also high quality, tasty and well presented.
Highly recommended the Craigdarroch for a Loch Ness stay.
Amazing views looking out over Loch Ness from the lovely beer garden. Nice room, comfy bed. Excellent food, with a good choice menu, and a good hearty breakfast before we left. A path around the back of hotel through the forest takes you to Foyer Falls, worth doing. Richard, Nigel and their staff were amazing hosts. Nothing to much trouble, and I would definitely highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay 😀
Beautiful Country Home overlooking Loch Ness. Book room #2 for best view and space. The owners, Chris and Ell y are exceptional host and chefs. Full bar available until 11. And interesting wild life including nightly feedings of a badger! Hike from property to Foyers Falls and Loch Ness. Easy trip into Inverness or Fort Augustus. Highly recommend at stay here!
absolutely beautiful view but the real charm was the incredible staff. Michelle made us feel welcome and was so much fun to talk to. The food was especially good too. I’ve never seen a menu where virtually everything was gluten-free or could be made that way. Great people, great food and great accommodations make this a two, very-enthusiastic, thumbs-up!
The setting is wonderful. The approach to Foyers Roost from the South is spectacular with incredible panoramic views. And being so close to the Falls of Foyer meant we could walk there which was great. The rooms were good, clean and comfortable. Good value for money. Breakfast was also good. And being able to park on site was a definite plus.
We had a lovely view of the Loch from our bedroom which was really nice. We had our dinner on the terrace overlooking Loch Ness, it was very sunny and there were no midges which was a huge bonus. The rooms were very pleasant, nicely decorated and comfortable. We were given a glass of prosecco each on arrival which was a lovely gesture.
The room we were allocated was very large and could be considered a suite in a lot of other hotels. The hotel is located nearby to a great woodland walk encompassing the Falls of Foyers.
The breakfast was an exceptional surprise and I am upset that we didn't have cause to stay for lunch or dinner to experience the other offerings.
Wow!!! The views are breathtaking, we could never tire of looking over Loch Ness. The lodge is just beautiful, comfy and clean - there is everything you need. We will be coming back without a doubt. Added bonus was the local pub just a 4 min walk away with a great selection of food and drinks.
We liked the location at south of loch ness! We had a big and clean room! The bathroom (shower and toilet are in two seperate room) is shared with two other room wich was no problem. The location has a restaurant that serves food until 8.15pm and a great whysky bar!
Amazing property in stunning location with wonderful balcony view over Loch Ness. Only one lodge next door, well screened so very private. Towels and robes for the hot tub provided. We had everything we needed, although see comment below.
A perfect stay to recharge or explore the area. The house had everything you could need and Elly & Chris are the best hosts! We wished we had planned for a longer stay than a single night and that says everything!
Beautiful setting, great food! Louise and Terry are wonderful hardworking hosts. Make reservations at the wee dram and be on time. Delicious and a beautiful view of the Loch while you dine.
The Views were amazing.
the hotel is set in a picturesque location and is a fantastic place to stay.
hospitality was second to none, food and drink were lovely.
we were made really welcome.
Everything! It’s a beautiful Victorian house & the location in close proximity to Loch Ness & falls of foyers makes it perfect. Chris is a wonderful host & makes you feel at home.
