Clean, quiet, comfortable, staff were up to the mark, bar was quite ice.
meal 1 - leak and potato pie although tasty was a bit stodgy, very mean portion of peas which were over cooked, chips were good.
meal 2 - Salad with crispy cauliflower was good but side of chips was a little mean but good.
breakfast "sandwich" as requested beans, mushrooms and veggy sausage was ok, would have been better with better bread rather than cheap white and would have been better with butter applied.

The apartment was comfortable and had all I needed. I really liked the layout and the views were spectacular. Excellent location too.
The owner was so friendly and accommodating. She left a complimentary breakfast for us too, which was lovely.

Nardinis ice cream parlour and fish and chip premises is rightly famous, well worth a visit. So is the lovely Haylies hotel farther on for steak etc. The Seamill Hydro next door is a fab hotel with a lovely pool but does loads of weddings. There is lots more too.
There is the wonderful nearby coastal walk near Portencross and a castle there to see.

We only went for one night, we arrived late afternoon, but we should have gone a lot earlier even if the room wasn't ready the location was just great for a long walk on the beach and a pleasant lounge where tea is served while you can enjoy the views. Definitely go again, smashing venue.
The photo from the lounge is the sun going down behind Arran.
We love everything about this hotel, from the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, to the beautiful, comfortable rooms, the amazing location and outlook and the staff who are so accommodating. One of our favourite hotels in the Ayrshire area. Gemma on reception was so helpful, nothing was too much bother. All other staff we encountered were so friendly and looked after us so well. We can't wait to return.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly the small hotel modern, clean and comfortable. We upgraded for £30 to one of the suites and enjoyed a freestanding bath, electric fireplace and a super comfy super king size bed.
The food in the restaueant was excellent, well known items on the menu with a twist - very delicious. All in all, we can highly recommend the Seamill House Hotel.
Nothing - I booked through booking.com NS THERE WERE TWO OPTIONS FOR THE BOOKING AT DIFFERENT PRICES. LESSER PRICE INDICATED WE WOULD NEED TO CANCEL ON 21ST dEC - THE MORE EXPENSIVE OPTION OFFERED CANCELLATION FOR FREE UP TO 2359 ON 22ND. THIS WAS THEN CHANGED WHEN INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE HOTEL.
a DISASTEROUS BOOKING ALL ROUND WITH ZERO HELP OR UNDERSTANDING FROM THE HOTEL.
Very friendly and helpful check-in - I got a call en-route to check what time I would be checking in and everything was ready for me. Very comfortable room, great bed, well equipped bathroom and plenty of working space. Very nice outside garden area and views are stunning (it was a very pleasant couple of evenings). Good food in the restaurant and reasonably priced for a good hotel.
The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and we'll kept. The beach was literally at your door. The food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help me anyway they could as I had burnt my back and was sore and uncomfortable. The restaurant staff were also amazing to my daughter which was lovely as it made her holiday even more special
We stayed at Seamill House Hotel on 28th June we had an executive room named "The Brodick" which was lovely in every way with beautiful views from the balcony. Also the walk in shower was excellent. We had dinner bed & breakfast and the food was excellent, the choices at breakfast in particular were great.
Hotel and staff were very good 😊 breakfast and service was very good, only snag we did not like much on either of the dinner menus, so we dined next door which was Very good, but that was our choice. I would recommend the seamill hydro to anyone, our stay was very very good
Hotel was clean, large & had beautiful views. Breakfast was also a stand out, ours was included in the room price & would usually be a buffet but it was all made to order and had a great menu selection.
