Enjoyed the sauna with the birch leaves in the privacy of our cabin, and we had great fun tobogganing outside. Our host, Ilkka was most hospitable and attentive. Thanks much, Ilkka!

Can possibly be a decent base for trips in Lapland too. Easy to find, even though Google Maps doesn't know about it - thanks to the clear instructions from the host. Free parking, a good kitchen, easy check-in process, a warm and cosy room.

Perfect spot to spend a few nights with friends and explore the Ivalo and Inari area. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the living room is cozy and the bedrooms are comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided. We had an issue with the sauna and the host was very responsive and made her best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Highly recommend!

We came back the next night too. It was good to know it just had a microwave. It had a good bed and bathroom with shower.

A place like home. Very cozy, pleasant and homey. Beautiful views from the window. Plenty of space for children to play outside.

The house is very nice. In the middle of the forest, but with other houses in the area. Very close to the center of Ivalo. There are a lot of beds and they are very nice. There is Wifi internet which is not to fast, but enough for checking your email.

This Finnish Lapland holiday village is situated right by the Ivalo River. It offers double rooms, holiday cottages, a caravan area, summer cottages and a camping area. We had an amazing stay in the Arctic River Rtheiresort. we stayed there for 3 nights with family. they had provided us their best cottage as we had kids with us. the service was exceptional. They called their aurora tour guide at late night on our request just to satisfy our queries. The location is also amazing. We were extremely lucky that we could see dancing aurora from just outside our cottage. Their Husky tour was also amazing.
