Located in Port Ellen in the Isle of Islay region, Machrie View has a balcony. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Guests can make use of a garden. The house was well situated between port Ellen and Bowmore, making it an ideal location for exploring the island. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Glenegedale House offers accommodation in Glenegedale and is situated 5 miles from Port Ellen and 6 miles from Bowmore. Each room includes a flat-screen TV. Our hosts Emma and Graeme made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is a feast in itself! Three courses of locally sourced products cooked to perfection. There’s even the option for a tot of single malt on your porridge! The place is spotlessly clean and extremely well decorated, residents have the full run of the downstairs where they can relax in the comfy sofas and enjoy a G&T from the amazing selection of Scottish gins. They also provide evening meals and will happily cater for any special dietary requirements provided you let them know in advance. If you choose to eat out, there are good restaurants in Bowmore, the cleverly named Peatzeria and, in Port Ellen, the Sea Salt Bistro and the Islay Hotel. A visit to one or more of the distilleries on Islay is a must as is a trip to Jura and the wonderful Lussa gin distillery at the far end of the island. Would we stay there again. Absolutely…

This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. excellent hotel with very helpful and friendly staff! very high quality on everything from bed linen to toiletries to dining! magnificent location , delicious food and cozy atmosphere… absolute must to visit!

The Trout Fly Guest House ligger i sentrum av Port Ellen, bare noen få minutter fra fergeterminalen og under 5 km fra den lokale flyplassen. everything about the property is amazing and especially the landlord is exceptionally helpful and welcoming.

Offering sea views, Eilidh’s Guest House is an accommodation set in Port Ellen, 100 metres from White Hart Beach and 2 km from Kilnaughton Beach. Great view out of the bedroom over the bay of Port Ellen, clean room, nice bathroom and a lovely, freshly prepared breakfast by the host (at Trout Fly). Niall was an exceptional host, friendly and helpful. You can also park right in front of the property and there is a bus stop nearby.

Location was great - easy walk to the whisky trail. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.
