They also provide evening meals and will happily cater for any special dietary requirements provided you let them know in advance. If you choose to eat out, there are good restaurants in Bowmore, the cleverly named Peatzeria and, in Port Ellen, the Sea Salt Bistro and the Islay Hotel. A visit to one or more of the distilleries on Islay is a must as is a trip to Jura and the wonderful Lussa gin distillery at the far end of the island. Would we stay there again. Absolutely…

The place is warm and cozy. We realy loved it and we can't wait to come back!

The room was clean and spacious, with an excellent view to the sea. The room was also cleaned daily. Breakfast rolls could be ordered to the room for a small price. The location was excellent.
