Overlooking the Waimea Inlet, The Grand Arden Monaco Nelson is an English-style resort featuring 23 rooms as well as ample free parking and free WiFi. Good location, but not in Nelson (the location is actually Stoke). The restaurant next door at the Honest Lawyer was great, and our dinner at the Brick Eatery was terrific.

Situated in Nelson, 8.3 km from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson, The Honest Lawyer, Ascend Hotel Collection features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One incident was that I dirty my shoes at a muddy beach and the staff kindly let me use a large cleaning sink to clean my shoes. Thank you and much appreciated. The location was very good with beautiful scenery - high and low tides right before your eyes. The room was vintage style, cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our family of 7 had dinner in the hotel restaurant - excellent! Highly recommend this hotel to visitors coming to the Nelson area.

Centrally located between Nelson and Richmond, Greens Motel offers self-contained studios and apartments with kitchenette facilities and a patio or balcony. The room was clean and tidy and well equipped. The Motel was easy to travel to and from, close to the airport and restaurants and takeaway's were not to far away. The staff were super friendly I would definitely stay there again.

Offering free WiFi and free private parking, Studio on Parkers is located in Nelson, within just 1.4 km of Tahunanui Beach. Room was spacious for 2 people and well maintained. Very clean room and towels. Instructions inside the room and for check-in were clear and helpful. Parking was convenient and right outside the room. The host very sweetly left the heater on so that the room was cosy when we checked-in late at night. They also left a small bottle of milk which came in handy. Beach towels were a plus.
