One of the best motor camps we’ve stayed at! Michelle and Andrew have a great set-up and create a comfortable atmosphere for their guests. We stayed in a cabin, which was spacious and comfortable, and even included a mini fridge and hot water kettle right in our room. The bed was very comfortable and our cabin and all of the facilities are well-maintained and clean. Besides the cabins, there are spaces available for camper vans and tents, and the grounds and facilities are accommodating for all users. The kitchen is well-equipped and makes it easy to prepare and sit down to nice meals. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Michelle and Andrew really go the extra mile to ensure that everything is clean and runs smoothly. And it was an extra bonus that there are pet birds, so cool to see. Michelle and Andrew are onsite and make themselves available to provide information and answer questions for guests.

HighTree Chalets features a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Peebles. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The facilities were brilliant, especially the well stocked kitchen and the outdoor baths. It was such a peaceful, beautiful spot to unwind, watch and feed the ducks and swans. We really enjoyed sharing the delicious platter, which was perfect with a glass of local rose wine. All those additional treats like the home made biscuits made you feel like you were being looked after.

The Shepherd's Rest is situated on a farm, within a 10-minute drive from the centre of Oamaru. The adults-only property has mountain views. Jennie is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcomed. Even though it’s quite compact, it has everything we needed. The moment we stepped into the farm, we felt so relaxed and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Love it here. I am missing the three Alpaca Brothers and the sheep already. Love that we could feed them and interact with them anytime we wanted and the cutie pies made us feel very loved and welcomed too!
