Arnott’s Lodge is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Hilo, just steps away from the ocean. We were on a budget which is difficult in Hawaii but this property helped us sleep five comfortably. Very friendly staff at check in. Accommodations were modest but so is the price so that’s ok.

Located in Hilo, within 700 metres of Onekahakaha Beach and 1.2 km of Kealoha Beach Park, Aaron’s cottage provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Awesome location. Very clean. Very quiet and peaceful.

The facility was the best ‘value for money’ in the area. The free local buses meant we could go anywhere. No restaurant in this hotel but that was okay as we went elsewhere, no problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone else travelling on a budget.

I also appreciated all recommendations that were left for us by the owner. As a family of 4, we were all very comfortable with plenty of room.
