Simbambili Lodge is located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This romantic hideaway offers a Moroccan-style experience, privately tucked away in the sweeping savanna grassland. This lodge is absolutely stunning! Every amenity, the food, the staff, the environment…all simply perfect. I could not have asked for more. You cannot go wrong with Simbambili. And the massage was definitely one of the best I have ever had.

Everything at Elephant Plains was amazing. The room was very cozy and very clean, the food was great and the game drives were outstanding. Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. The property was in Manyaleti and there were no fences. The animals were free to move around. We had hyenas, giraffe, elephants and lots of birds in our camp. Our game driver, Beksom, was unbelievable in the way he was able to find all the animals. We loved the simplicity of the camp. All the meals were excellent.

Very well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!

The breakfasts were excellent as well as the lunches and dinners. The game drives were spectacular. We saw the Big 5 continually. Bongoni, our tracker and Mark, our driver were terrific. One morning they tracked a leopard for a couple of kilometres and found him.
