What a find. I would highly recommend this place. The apartments are huge (not just by NYC standards, but just big for any city) so there is PLENTY of space and gorgeous furnishings. It felt new and luxurious. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels all over Manhattan and Brooklyn previously, and this Sonder was far better than all of them. A great shower, walk in wardrobe, full kitchen (if you need it), great lighting and lots of power points. Very comfortable bed and access to laundry. It feels high end, without the big price tag. Such good find. I would definitely stay here again. even though some Sonders don’t have front desk staff, this one does.

Near to Central Park and loads of restaurants/bars/Irish Bars and cafes all within walking distance. Bonus was that because this is self-catering, we could go out to the many supermarkets nearby and get our own breakfast/lunch

When I used to live in NYC, I visited the Soho Grand bar a lot so I knew it was a nice property with a fun atmosphere and good food etc. I do feel that the focus is very much on the bar/resto part and a lot less on the hotel so the hotel service is very variable (some staff is amazing, some very much not, very slow reacting time when requesting things etc.). Rooms are fine for NYC (small but neat and practical). Location is great and very convenient.
