We loved how beautifully designed the cottage is. It is very peaceful and well thought out. Every detail is perfect. We felt right at home and would love to stay at this cottage again the next time we travel to Oak Island! Also our contact with the host, Mike was excellent. He made sure we had everything that we needed and responded quickly to any questions we had. He also left helpful notes in the cottage of things that we might like to do on the island, which turned out to be great suggestions!

Loved this house! Comfort, charm, location, cleanliness and thoughtfulness are just a few reasons why I would stay here again! The kitchen is fully stocked for meal preparation, there are nice extra touches (great towels, quality glassware and silverware, bicycles and beach chairs, etc…)

Loved being able to walk across the street to the ocean. Great deck to sit on. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Owner was easy to contact.

The dog friendly layout and fence were amazing. The elevator was nice to have. Having 2 decks was my favorite part. The beach was very clean (minus jellyfish, but it's the season for them) and not crowded. All in all, it was a lovely trip and we hope to come back!

This house is the perfect size and location. The screened in porch with swing was very relaxing. The walk from the house to the beach was a perfect distance and a great way to watch the sunset on the boardwalk.

The Cottage was so very cozy!! Very Retro!! LOVED it!! If you are looking modern this is probably not your place. This is a simple vacation home with a lot of character. It was perfect for our honeymoon!! Quiet and peaceful.
