We had an amazing stay at Cottage in the Valley. It’s beautifully decorated, very comfortable and great garden/ views. We loved the pool, which is very welcome given the relatively high temperatures in summer. Phil, who manages the estate for the owners was great, responding very quickly to all our questions. So all in all a great stay and highly recommended!

Our stay at Silky Oaks was absolutely incredible. The space is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could have needed! The kitchen has everything from braai essentials to baking equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy loft space, and the air conditioner helped us through the sweltering afternoons! Anabela is an attentive and thoughtful host, who put so much love and care into making us and our pup feel at home. We will most certainly be back!

The cottage is perfectly set-up for a relaxing stay in a small country town and I will be back there in no time. It's within walking distance to multiple coffee shops, restaurants and the town grocery store, and yet wonderfully quiet despite the town being quite busy in the summer. The pool and air-conditioning were perfect to combat the hot weather; the bedrooms were sleek and comfortable with ample packing space and lovely, spacious ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen has to be highlight for me, it's beautiful, modern and able to cover every need I had when it came to cooking! The hosts were kind and welcoming, leaving us to enjoy the space and privacy of the cottage. Their response time was excellent in the event that we needed help with anything. Overall, this cottage was a hidden gem I expect won't stay hidden for long!

Great facilities, liked the courtyard for morning coffee and evening drink. Host, Almo, very friendly and an excellent cook ! ( we took up an option to have dinner on our last night - excellent. Riebeeck Kasteel is a lovely town. We liked our location as it was on the outskirts and we could have our privacy when we wanted to. We will go back again !

The views were incredible, Gareth the host went out of his way to make us comfortable. The cake and canapés that were served was delicious and such a nice touch. He was very thoughtful and specially made dairy and gluten free options for me. Breakfast was just delicious! The location is amazing and the house is beautifully decorated.
