We were surprised there was no visitor information centre.
We were surprised there was no visitor information centre. There is not really much to do at Batemans Bay unless you like fishing. Good fish and chip shops but little else unless you went to one of the big clubs.

Always enjoy our visit to the Bay, so many great places to see and continue to discover near the many scenic beaches and national parks. A wonderful place to visit for a family to have lots of fun or to just relax and enjoy the views.

A lovely area to stay with lots of beautiful bays and beaches to explore.
There seems to be plenty of activities to partake in (kyaking tours and river cruises), but it pays to book ahead to make sure you get to do them.

Room was lovely and bed very comfortable.
Room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Views from balcony over water and jetty very nice. Everything was very clean.
Unfortunately they were fully booked and there were no car spaces left under the building. Bit disconcerting when random cars are driving through checking out cars in the undercover parking area.
Bookings.com mention BBQ facilities- there are not. When we came back from a picnic there was a fellow going through the industrial bin belonging to the accommodation.

It's a beautiful little town which is very relaxing to stay at. The only downside is the lack of food options on a weeknight, and lack of quality restaurants. Other than that, we really did love our stay. For a relaxing time away with beautiful views and peaceful, waterfront surroundings, it's really lovely.

The atmosphere is great, the marinas and views of the bay are lovely. Accessibility is great and you are walking distance to alot. Cassies Beach is wonderful and clean - perfect for families with kids.
Sam's Pizza is absolutely divine for a full belly feed at a reasonable price.
The BoatShed had amazing fresh fish and chips!
Unfortunately most businesses and restaurants are closed on Sundays and it is hard to find somewhere to dine.
The rooms are very modern and clean. Our room was serviced while we were out. Our bed was particularly comfortable. There are plenty of things to do in your downtime (pool, relax in a hammock by the lake…which was unexpected, sit in the pavilion overlooking the lake). Breakfast was easygoing. A short walk over the bridge to the heart of Batemans Bay. A short drive to Nelligan (where I can recommend the Nelligen Kayak Hire business and River Cafe), Ulladulla (where I can recommend visiting Lake Burrill Beach), Broulee Beach and Bodalla.
Easy to find when you come into Batemans Bay. Very close to a shopping centre with Woolworths, BWS etc. Also walking distance to takeaway food shops if you would like that.
I also liked the little sofa in the lounge area to relax and watch TV.
You can see some fairly recent investment in updating the room (new dining chairs, shower head, coffee machine)
The house was very spacious, immaculately clean and very well equipped. It had a fully stocked kitchen, bbq, toys for the kids.
A very short walk to the beach, and a short drive into Batemans Bay. The host Liza was fantastic, very kind, leaving us a generous treats bag.
Would definitely come back.
Immaculately clean and very spacious home in a perfect location. Has everything you need for a family holiday and also working station for remote working. Will be coming next time with the family and can effortlessly combine it with remote working.
Clean, friendly place. Near beach and town facilities. Would be a good place to stay for anyone intending to spend the days with at the beach or driving around. Family-friendly, with good facilities such as kitchen and barbecues.
we travelled to Batemans Bay for a funeral and needed a cheap room for just one night stay and the price was definitely reasonable for the room facilities. The location was good and the view was amazing.
The location of this property is right in the main town of Batemans Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had the beautiful river views.
Location is quite good, right in the heart of Batemans Bay and near water. Lots of restaurants around the property and several facilities including parking, bar and swimming pool.
