Ideally located to get to Freycinet quickly. Our studio room, although small, had everything we needed and was clean and adequate. The site has the Iluka tavern & bar that serves pretty decent evening meals.
There is also a café that does a nice breakfast, although that didn’t appear to be open every day.
Despite this being a camp site at a bank holiday, I couldn’t believe how quiet the site was after dark, and how considerate our fellow guests were for others. Well done Ozzies.
Finally, the lady in reception was absolutely lovely, and the restaurant staff were attentive and polite.

The location was very good with lovely views from rooms. The apartment was spacious with lounge room, kitchen, eating space and bedroom and ensuite. The bed was comfortable and space warm. Off street parking was provided.
Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks...
Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks around the Hazards and Wineglass Bay. There's a small store / post office that has all the basics and more, plus a fish & chip shop and great coffee bar/restaurant. Great to stay here for a few days and explore Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville and Wineglass Bay lookout walks. The oyster farm is also well worth a visit.
You definitely need a car to make the most of the area.

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two...
Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two nights and one day that we had. Ideally, two full days if not more. Lots of hiking, beaching, kayaking etc. Loved it. Lucky those who own a house there!

Loved all of it. Our cabin was neat, clean, warm and cosy. Our cabin accomodated our family of five with three adult children 23, 21 and 19yrs. One gets up at 5am, and was able to get up and move around without wakingeveryone else up. The location at Coles bay, was an oasis at the end of a long drive. All amenities were in easy walking distance. Two days was not enough, wish we could have stayed for a week.
Location was astounding, had an incredible view of the Hazards. Very clean, lots of facilities/ utilities, close to all the cafes & grocery store. Phil, the manager, and Jeff both greeted me as I got off the bus. So kind & welcoming. Gave me a quick tour of Coles Bay, and set me up with a private driver in the area- Big Pete’s Seats. Super lovely town and great access to Wineglass Bay.
This property is in the perfect location for an exploring Coles bay . It’s amazing clean . It has everything you need . The beds are comfortable. Noise is not a problem, so peaceful Views are amazing. Walking distance to shops . I contacted the staff with bed requests less than 24 hours before check in and they had it sorted before we arrived . Much appreciated . Highly recommended.
Loved the location and casual beach vibe of house. Felt safe to walk around the neighbourhood and down to the jetty. Easy drive back into Coles Bay. Nice comfortable layout of house. Clean modern kitchen and bathroom with everything on hand. Separate toilet was excellent. Views were fantastic.
Well managed holiday house in Coles Bay region. Pet friendly, the welcome note for our furbaby was particularly a nice touch. It was a cold arrival day but the aircon heating and some light music was already on when we arrived, really make you feel the warmth and hospitality.
Easy access to Park. Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Staff went out of their way to deal with luggage my husband left behind while loading the car. We were travelling for an additional 7 days around Tasmania and they got my bags to our final hotel destination in Hobart.
A memorable place to stay right on the shoreline of Coles Bay with views of the Hazards. Lovely unit with balcony and easy access to front shore for a walk. Very comfortable , clean and impressed by a bathroom with a heated floor. Very private. Service staff unobtrusive.
New property in new development close to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park opposite play area for children. Newly furnished and deck at 2 sides. Quiet area and we’ll located with 2 convenience stores at Coles Bay (little fresh food) and many pleasant cafes close by.
Beautiful location in the wilderness. Saw multiple wallabies and a wombat. We stayed in the villa, which was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. 10-15 minute drive to Coles Bay/Freycinet. Friendly staff.
Lovely quiet cabin to stay in during our time at the beautiful Freycinet! Comfy beds and well equipped kitchenette. Ros and family were friendly and gave us recommendations for the local area.
We stayed in The Top Shack . Fabulous home - beautifully furnished and exceptionally well equipped . Great location - 5 minute walk to local beach and short drive to centre of Coles Bay .
Fantastic view. Tidy accomodation and great living area, both in size and view. Very short walk to foreshore and a supermarket and take away foods. We would happily stay there again.
Location a little more remote than expected and should have picked up supplies from Bicheno rather than Coles Bay. Enjoyed the fact the house was off grid.
