We were surprised with the food in the restaurant, it was a lot better than we expected .
The staff & management found out that we were celebrating our anniversary & my birthday, & when we got back from a shopping trip, they had left a nice card of congratulations with a bottle of cuvée brut & a cheese platter.
We were thrilled with their thoughtfulness.
The breakfasts were exceptional also.

Good simple continental breakfast. This would be a good choice for three couples on a special weekend. A few shortcomings if you just want somewhere to stay for a couple of nights.

I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. It was charming, comfortable, warm and clean. At every turn the owners were incredibly thoughtful
- fires were lit for us before we arrived and during our stay, the kitchen was well equipped and provisioned with more than ample delicious food and the beds were some of the comfiest we have slept in. I lost a sentimental piece of jewellery over the course of the weekend - I wasn’t sure if I may have misplaced it in the house - and the owners very willingly and kindly spent the day after our stay searching high and low for it (finally found elsewhere in Mudgee - and they were very good humoured about it!). I would love to go back, it’s a true gem.
Private luxurious cabin with amazing views over Mudgee.
Private luxurious cabin with amazing views over Mudgee. Short drive to nearby vineyards, restaurants and Mudgee for everything you need. Recommend the Mudgee Brewing Company for tastings and great food.

Great spot for exploring the wineries of the Mudgee region...
Great spot for exploring the wineries of the Mudgee region but also only 5 min drive to Mudgee centre where there’s plenty of choice for eating - Alby and Esthers for gorgeous coffee and breakfast and Eltons for great dinners (highly recommend the tacos and fried chIcken).
