Injune is a cute little town with friendly locals. We love going to the Bowls Club where the food is excellent & staff are delightful. A heads up that the pub & Club shut at 8pm and also, petrol may be limited, so stock up in Roma or well before reaching Injune. There’s a 24 hr petrol place but it shuts before closing time (5pm) & WiFi is limited when you want to get the petrol app! Stock up on groceries but the cafe opposite the supermarket is open early for breakfast & snacks you can enjoy for lunch. A great newsagent! Good pub meals

    A nice little town.

A nice little town. We had a takeaway from the Caltex which was very good, I believe the hotel also does a good meal but we didn't want a sit down meal. There is a train and an old railway station with a history of both to see in the main street. Injune is about 2 hrs from the Carnarvon Gorge.

The people seemed very friendly they even yelled out a friendly goodbye to us as we left the Injune Hotel even though we didn't know them. I probably wouldn't eat at the Hotel again though. I don't know if the town was having a plague of mice but there were mice running around while we were eating. The steaks were large but we were a bit disappointed that the prices/dishes outside did not match the prices/dishes of the menu inside. Stay away from the Steak Dianne, mine tasted of wine that had turned to vinegar for some reason.
