The facilities were great; loved our tent. Above all the staff was extremely caring. Dianne gave us all the guidance when we checked in, and at night-time Rob surprised us with his kind hospitality. He lighted up the property and created a small bob-fire which made it extra special, and above all, he offered his assistance, at any time of the night, which gave us so much sense of safety and comfort in such an isolated but lovely location. Will always come again.

Didn't have breakfast. Location was convenient and quiet. There were only 2 staying so were able to choose beds we found comfortable.

The owners of the property were lovely and Di informed us of the history of Buckland Estate, it was very interesting going back to the 1800's. The lawns were so green and lush. The main building has been kept in such lovely condition and is a wonderful wedding location. The dam near the site tops it off. You just don't expect such a building situated where it is and its not a huge drive from the city.

Irishtown itself isn't hugely interesting, but it is a great hub to travel to nearby locations. Lots to see and do within an hour or so of driving and it is great to come back to a relaxing spot each evening.

The property is out of town, and has no wi-fi, but telephone reception is well catered for. It was just what we were looking for - a peaceful, private place to get away in the country/wheatbelt.
Noting to do but rest, read, walk, play board games and listen to the birds.
