Latrobe was the base for us to visit the Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens and the Table Cape Tulip festival. As a town it has several eating establishments and most things a large country town should have. Also, it is a short drive from Devonport, Sheffield and Railton which are all worth visiting. Devonport has the Spirits terminal, Sheffield has world class murals and Railton has some fine topiary.
Amazing old building with lots of heritage features, it felt like I would see a ghost each time I entered a room but no such luck. My bed was comfy which I feel is important when traveling. There was a communal lounge with a open fire which was a nice touch. Latrobe is a lovely little town and there is a shortcut to walk to town from Lucinda Ct, a foot path between the houses that takes you a back way, only a 5 minutes walk.
The farm is a deer farm, it was so interesting watching the herd of deer, didn't expect that! Also sheep there too. Could see the neighbours cows also.
The location is about 5-8 minute drive from Latrobe, not too far, a peaceful, relaxing country stay.
Belinda is a very friendly host.
Comfortable room, fan available and needed as it was a little warm. Breaky cereal and milk etc supplied
A blissfully quiet and peaceful location for an excellent night's sleep in a very comfy bed. The breakfast provisions were certainly ample and I enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast of scrambled egg with bacon. Would certainly recommend as a place to stay near Latrobe.
What a great location. Fiona was an outstanding host. The room was beautiful and very well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic and Fiona's attention to detail of service was second to none - could not recommend Lucinda B and B any higher - will be staying again.
This property was lovely , very clean and had everything you needed . Brilliant location. On main strip so close to all shops to walk to.
Latrobe has some nice shops, so walk the strip and have a look. I highly recommend this accommodation .
Exactly what we needed for a night after being on the Spirit of Tas all day. Was warm, spacious and comfortable. We arrived late which wasn't an issue and great communication from the owners.
Very convenient location in the middle of Latrobe. The apartment is so clean and well maintained.
Deb is wonderful and leaves yummy breakfast supplies and treats for your stay!!
