Lovely cosy stay. The room was large and welcoming lots of space to get ready for a wedding we were attending. Lovely spacious bathroom .The breakfast was delicious and A la carte much nicer than buffet, Extra coffees were not a problem.

A little off the beaten track but beautifully nestled in the trees near the top of Mt Dandenong. It is an old fashioned guesthouse that was very welcoming. Our four poster bed looked most impressive but, more importantly, was super comfortable.

The motel (Econo Lodge ) was accessed off the Maroondah Highway, although the address was Maroondah Highway. Signage was not visible, so easy to miss where to turn to enter. Hilly in Lilydale, not good for walking when you are not used to hills. Our accomodation was a good walk from the supermarker/shops/ We had an evening meal at the hotel. That was very good, but not that many other alternatives we could find.

Being in Lilydale made me appreciate the small things I can so easily take for granted! Such a scenic area, perfect for families and couples to relax and have a rewarding weekend away! Plenty of enjoyable options for everyone to love, from buying quality products for low prices, tree top adventures, picnics, and more! The location is central to many attractions... Accommodation was disappointing. There seems to be very little decent, affordable accommodation in this area. Motels in the area are old, often shabby, with owners giving them a lick of paint & basic amenities.

The check-in was pretty fuss-free but as the reception was closed, we had to give make a call to the person in charge to receive instructions to retrieve the room keycard from the lockbox.
