Flinders Gin was a highlight for us, the gin tasting experience was superb & the products for sale were of a high standard.
We rode on the steam train which has always been something we've wanted to do.
Unfortunately, a lot of shops were empty, sign of the times in rural area's I guess. Only 1 pub was open and was fully booked for dinner when we were there, though we did have the option to take away food.
There was a beautiful lawned area with a fountain behind the old courthouse (I think).
The butcher's meat was delicious and good variety to choose from.
All of the local people were open, helpful & friendly to us.

Attractive , accessible outback town with good pubs & substantial food. Few quirky shops ( & shop owners) and basic facilities run by friendly people. We came to ride the Pichi-richi Railway run by dedicated & knowledgeable volunteers and it did not disappoint. If you like desert landscapes and endless vistas, this is a good spot to visit and an excellent starting place to explore to Flinders Ranges. Did not have the time to do more this time but i have been here before and will surely come again. Great Gin distillery in town - recommend this although there are some hard choices to make! Also is a waypiont on the Heysen Trail for hikers

We liked the quandong Cafe scones. We also enjoyed the art galleries and the sound and light show about Quorn on the silos, (which also featured art work and photography of the area). Great idea shows every night after sunset

QUORN is an old railway town full of charm and original character. For a great meal, I recommend Emily's Bistro. The Quandong Cafe is also nice. As well as Pichi Richi Railway there are Art Galleries and drives to places like Warren Gorge. There is a range of accommodation choices but book early to ensure the place you want.
Amazing cat that roams the property so friendly and welcoming. We used this location as a stop after finishing a hike in Flinders Ranges and were heading to Coober Pedy the next day. The rooms were spacious, and the car was able to be parked right outside of the room. Took a stroll from the motel down the main street in Quorn just after sunset, and it was very beautiful. Appreciated all the suggestions upon checkin! Great price as well.
The house was in a good location for Quorn town cantre & Pichi Richi Railway - short 15 min walk away.
The house was very clean, spacious, and with a very well equipped kitchen.
Big garden wirh BBQ (& timrams in the fridge!)
We managed to lock ourselves out one day, and the owners were immediately responsive & advised us how to access a spare key.
Love the location, setting and it's rustic charm. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sitting room and veranda with views. Beds are comfy, shower is hot.15 mins drive to Quorn. Easy access to walking trails DS loop and Heysen trail. Stars are amazing.
A fantastic place in a stunning landscape! It was dog friendly and we got to meet Binky the very friendly local dog. We were well looked after and the family cabin was spotless with great decor. Close to Quorn for a swim and dinner at a friendly pub.
Absolute gem in quiet location minutes walk from town. Clarinda was an amazing host, friendly and informative. Great place to relax and chill out in her beautiful garden space. Enjoyed the Silo sound and light show and yummy meal at local hotel
We loved the Quorn-er House, reminded us very much of Grandmas house. Location was great. Absolutely lovely waking up to the sound of the birds. The Tim Tams in the fridge was a lovely gesture. We would definitely stay again.
Had the pleasure to spend some time at very welcoming animal-loving Clarinda’s and her super-friendly dog Zeus’ home and gorgeous garden! - Nice place for visiting Quorn and its beautiful surroundings like “Warren Gorge”

Hamish was very friendly, helpful for dinner plans in Quorn.
We were allowed to check in very early, which was very nice. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The motel also had a clothes washer for its guests.
