Room was excellent for our needs. Bar and menu was great and breakfast was diy but good quality. Car parking was good and secure and the whole setting was well thought out and maintained. Would be particularly good for families with children as there appeared to be lots of things for them.

The barge was a great place to stay. Short walk from the railway station and easy access to the old town. The room wasn’t the biggest but ok for us. It was also very clean and in a quiet location.

Room was big, bed was confortable and breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect.
Even though the restaurant was busy, the hotel rooms were quiet. Rooms were spacious warm and well presented.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was continental and I recommend you take the opportunity to dine in the restaurant. We took a short walk to the cafe for drinks and a few games of pool, this is because there is no bar in the restaurant. This is due to it being a B&B and not a hotel. Turn left as you exit the hotel, and wander down to the cafe.
