The place was not as represented in the booking.com add. The buliding was a low concrete block structure separate and some distance from the check in location. Looked like a warehouse. The room was bare bones and the ac didnt work. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and was unusable. We had booked for a week but checked out after one night. Would not book there again.

There is quiet a bit of road work going on at present

We went to Gatineau for a walking/hiking trip. It is close to the Gatineau National Park which has a lot of walking trails. It also has other walking trails along the Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers.
Great restaurants in the Old Hull area.
Shopping centres every where.
Lots of highways, hardly any road traffic.

I absolutely did not like the place.
I absolutely did not like the place. Not renovated in decades. Old, smelly and dirty. There was rotten, smelly pork in the fridge that felt warm when opened. We left after we've seen the place and booked another hotel this time. Hotels at least have standards that are verified. It was impossible to sleep there even for a night. I have been at other locations in Gatineau before and is usually convenient and close to all tourist attractions. Do not book this place
This hotel is NOT kids friendly at all!! There's no activities fir kids, this hotel has several swimming pool and apa but only for adults, why on your website you put kids are welcome??
Find a parking spot was terrible, people at reception are very unprofessional and rude, we booked a package which was breakfast included, they were arguing with very bad attitudes, the way guests feel they are lying, after showing our paper and booking references then they agreed We Booked a package, without any opologizing for their poor behavior.
Easy to find in a very quiet location, yet right on - overlooking - the Rideau Canal (cruise access was a bonus). Free Wi-Fi, ample free parking spaces, close to stylish and classy restaurants. Pristine clean and highly practical; the unit is an apartment with everything in it. And it has a full featured gym at ground floor. When staying in Ottawa/Gatineau will check this first for availability. A definite 10/10. Thank you.
Location was great. Very close to Ottawa downtown. A quiet neighborhood. Close to grocery shops, Tim Hortons and other essentials. Anna was a great host. Place was really clean and organized. I recommend this place to anyone who is planning to visit Ottawa and Gatineau. Will definitely consider on our next trip.
It is our second visit to this hotel because we really enjoyed our stay in last August (we stayed for 5 days). It is the most beneficial hotel for your money as they offer suites. Therefore, ideal for several days stays if you don't want to spend on restaurants every day.
Good breakfast; bus stop infront of hotel that will bring you to both Ottawa and Gatineau; close to Ottawa downtown; very friendly and helpful staff especially Paula (the best) at the reception desk and also Maria at breakfast area; complimentary bottled water.
Great little Motel in Gatineau, walking distance to Lac-Leamy Casino, restaurants, cafés, grocery store, etc. Room was modest but yet very clean. The room was very clean and had everything to make this a pleasant stay!
The hotel is very neat and clean the staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our room and the breakfast is delicious as well. I highly recommended and definitely come back. Thank you so much.
