Great place to stay over while travelling.
Mr Karan Sharma was on duty when we stayed, and he was extremely kind and helpful.

The room was fine no bathtub just a shower which we prefer.
The location on the river was lovely. Stayed in the hotel which was cozy, I am sure the cottages are wonderful. Peaceful, clean, comfortable. The only thing that was missing was the restaurant which has not reopened since covid.

The Shakespearean Garden was a flowering delight. The Sr. Lawrence Shakespearean Festival outdoor auditorium was a happy surprise. So I canceled other plans and stayed the night, taking in 12th Night.
Met some friendly folk while I was having coffee at Katherine’s Tea Room. All in all, a lovely surprise on my way home.

Nice town to walk around.
Nice town to walk around. Beautiful view along the riverside. You can easily spend hours just take the sunbathing. We were there on Sunday (labour day long weekend) and really enjoyed the morning musical performance.

If you like the quiet, calm stay in place to reset, unwind and create the perfect atmosphere for r snd r this little town had it all and then some. We had several fantastic meals in town with excellent and friendly service and top notch food. For a couple of foodies (And one with special dietary needs) Prescott and nearby Brockville did not Disappoint. We enjoyed our walk along the waterfront and frequented some of the boutiques in aBrockville. On a rather laid back plight for bestie indulgence we gained everything we could want snd more, as well as finding numerous other things to put on the bucket list for the future.

I enjoyed how close we were to merrikville and Brockville. Unhappy that we paid to have breakfast included and because of Covic they closed the kitchen but no ever provide alternative for breakfast or credit.

Spending such a short time there and with the Covid-19...
Spending such a short time there and with the Covid-19 protocols in place we spent more time outside which was excellent with walking paths and places to be by the riverfront. Want to relax, then Prescott offers this to the traveler.
The location upon the river and the view were spectacular! They have a boardwalk that runs along the shoreline almost the total length of the property and a landscaped yard with a fountain! The room was clean and spacious with air conditioning and a fireplace! Must be nice in the winter! They also have a few cottages that are quite big and reasonably priced! Renting one of these in a couple of weeks! Looking forward to it, as we had little time to visit the town of prescott!
The location is quiet, directly overlooking the St Lawrence River which makes for a beautiful view. The room was spotless as were the gardens. This inn attracts mostly mature clients which results in quiet evenings chatting with your neighbors. We will definitely be coming back. Brockville is 15 minutes away, downtown Prescott is less than 10 minutes away and has quaint restaurants with friendly people.
We find it a good stopover when we are traveling east. This was our second visit. The location is right on the St. Lawrence River. The garden area leading to the deck area is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the Muskoka chairs along the edge of the river. Dewar's Inn is located about a 3-4 minute drive from Prescott. A continental breakfast is also included. So great value 😃
The quaint style of room and buildings was much nicer than a typical hotel/motel and I bet would be terrific atmosphere in the summertime (I was there in the Fall). The room had more amenities than I expected although for my short stay I didn't make complete use of them. The full breakfast was appreciated!
Awesomeness, this place is unbelievable, clean ,comfortable, great breakfast set up, Owners are amazing and helpful, please stay there when in Prescott...Thank you , i will be back, forgot to mention the beds are soooo comfortable...Kudo to this place...
Great location for a travelling motorcyclist looking for a bed for the night. Super clean and a great setup. Be aware that it is shared accomodations so don't expect a hotel like amenities. I would stay again.
You get to be really independent, which is nice, and it is very well located in Prescott. Coffee and breakfast included. The rooms are tidy and there's an arcade to play on which supports a bunch of consoles.
What a unique approach to a ‘hostel’ hotel. Loved it. Common area welcoming and clean. Bedrooms comfortable. Breakfast is self made with supplies…wonderful.
