The room was nice. Lots of space and a gas fireplace that made it quite cheerful. The bathroom was huge with a spa tub and separate shower. The beds were comfortable. It's also located next door to a restaurant so excellent if you're traveling and want to get something to eat latish. We didn't meet staff directly, except in the restaurant. However, we talked to them after we left because we forgot a pair of glasses. They were super nice and helpful and shipped them to us. That was really fantastic. Would cheerfully stay again.
This motel is located within 5 minutes' drive of the Saint Lawrence River, which features whale watching and boating. The motel is right next to St-Hubert Restaurant.

An ordinary motel that at some point in the not to distant past realized it was dated and so refurbished all the rooms. They didn't tell me this but it's obvious from the decor and bathroom fixtures that they put some thought into refreshing the rooms. The rooms are clean, bright, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is quite modern, the shower is great.
Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, Motel Bellevue is set in Rivière-du-Loup in the Quebec Region, a few steps from Riviere-du-Loup Saint-Simeon Ferry.
Came to the hotel for a funeral up from Massachusetts.
Came to the hotel for a funeral up from Massachusetts. The room had no tv remote and it went down from there. The fridge was turned off and took forever to get cool for the snacks and drinks we brought. I have to say the worse part was the hotel didn’t seem crowded, yet they put us under a family that couldn’t keep still day and night. Would have asked to move, but thee were a group of 4 rooms and wanted to stay together. I have stayed more than a few times in the past and was satisfied with the experience, but if this is how they are moving forward, I say try another place to stay.

We blaze through Rivière-du-Loup regularly on the way from Ontario to northern New Brunswick--it's not worth breaking the journey. This time we were going to southern NB so it made sense to stop. I'm not sure there's anything really in the RDL area that would make me spend a couple of days there, but if you need to break a journey, there are worse places to do it.

Absolutely stunning area. Parc des Chutes was amazing.
Absolutely stunning area. Parc des Chutes was amazing. Wish we had more time to explore. Had an excellent dinner within walking distance of the falls. Highly recommend L'Estaminet for a meal. Even though my french is limited, everyone was very accommodating.

The auberge was clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. Room with 1 bed and bunk beds had a small washroom with toilet, sink and shower. Breakfast provided a good assortment of food. Location was great...within walking distance of the lovely main street and restaurants. The auberge exceeded my expectations! Great value for price.

We loved our stay, especially the Nordic spa and proximity to excellent restaurants. Having dinner at L'Innocent was perfect after a long day of driving.
The sporadic rattling of our A/C unit throughout the night is one thing that could be improved otherwise everything was perfect.

Staff were friendly and smiling. The organization and administrative work of the hotel was very efficient. They got everything prepared including the room keys and you only needed to put down your signature for check-in. So the check-in process only took a minute. The check-out was also efficient because the statements were inserted into your room early in the morning. Also this was one of the only two hotels during our 11 day trip, which knew that we were the same group and put our three rooms next to each other.
We went on 2 different occasions on our road trip, at first on our way down and on our way back, room #34 was pretty nice, we could see that it has been renovated in the last few years, there was à back patio door with a great vue. Room 34 was a fair size.
The downtown of Rivière-du-Loup is very nice, you don't have a view on the sea, but it's very charming.
I have stayed in rivière du loup on several occasions and this is the place where I received the best service. The room is nicely equipped with a microwave and mini fridge on top of all the regular amenities. The staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful when I was in need of handling printing and scanning of documents. I would definitely recommend.
Clean .comfortable .good breakfast...
Front desk staff went out of his way to help us with getting some local food ordered..our French..not so good..he let us use the dining room to eat and was nice to our dog....the hotel is a bit dated but well kept..the breakfast staff lady was also very nice.
Very quaint place. A welcome change from traditional hotels. Friendly and helpful staff/owner. I would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to a number of friends and family who travel to Rivière de Loup for business.
The room was comfortable and clean. We were looking for a convenient, low-cost hotel, and this was a good deal that met our minimum requirements. Parking spot directly outside the room. Convenient location on our travel route.
Rather than a typical hotel room for a one night stay while travelling through the region, Auberge Mr. James is a beautiful old home with uniquely renovated rooms. There is a delightful, restful atmosphere.
Even though the facilities were dated, they were very clean.
Having the hotel reception located in a St Hubert part of the restaurant, isn't a good idea.
The welcome we got on arrival was not very good.
The hotel was exceptional all around. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, the room was very comfortable. The pool was very clean and was warm. We had a great time
My wife commented that it was the only hotel that we had stayed the past week that had a double mirror so that she could see the back of her head. Nice touch for women!
Wooooooow the hotel has the best beds ever in my entire life traveling. Really really comfortable. The stafff amaizing. Staff at 6 am working at Starbucks best ever.
Room was exactly as pictured from booking. Bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. Hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants which was nice.
