I enjoyed walking in the botanical garden in the evening, not so crowded after 18:00 (when the tourists leave the island). Eating dinner at the hotel with the view on the lake was the best decision. The food is very fine, delicious and well presented.

The almost semi tropical vegetation is a delight to the eyes with lush Meditaranean types of trees such as cypress, magnolia, olive and even palms. The Brissago islands are a must for any visitor who appreciates exotic plants
Brissago is a beautiful spot on the lake although the road from Locarno is quite busy.
There are plenty of activities to do such as taking a boat on the lake ,hiking and biking in the mountains and valleys or just visiting nearby towns on the lake

Loved Brissago setting and apartment so close to waterfront...
Loved Brissago setting and apartment so close to waterfront and swimming. Able to walk to wonderful pizza and gelato. Apartment very clean. We had two families of four. Both apartments were said to sleep four but one couch was so small it could not accommodate our two boys. We fortunately could borrow a fold out chair from adjacent apartment since we had both apartments. One apartment had fans which were a savior from the heat.
Would recommend regardless of a few flaws.
Wonderful stay!!

The views were spectacular - right across the lake.
The views were spectacular - right across the lake. Breakfast on the terrace was a great experience. BUT -
the room facilities are poor for the price - no fridge or mini bar, No A/C, no kettle, - awful if it is a hot day as it was with us
The view of Lago Maggiore was exceptional. The hotel seats above the village, which provides an exceptional view.
There is a dedicated pool area that is very relaxing and separated from the main hotel ground.
The breakfast/dining terrace with a complete view of Lago Maggiore is also exceptional.
Excellent breakfast with multiple options of great quality.
It's a10-minute walk to the village of Brissago, with a wonderful promenade along the lake and quality restaurants.
The location is amazing, view on a lake is breathtaking, the host was very attentive and helpful. VERY quiet! A breakfast was absolutely spectacular! A car is recommended unless you are super-fit to climb up to the hill every time. The private parking is provided for free. There are three very good restaurants nearby, down on the lake. Wi-Fi is OK and every hotel room has an own repeater. The beds were very comfy. Highly recommended!
A small paradise. Hotel originally from 1878. Beautiful paradise garden sloping down to the private beach. Extremely friendly owners that will go above and beyond to make sure the guests are satisfied. Breakfast personally brought to your table (no buffet) on the terrace overlooking the garden and lake.
Room was in a vintage style with 2 opening double doors overlooking the lake.
I will surely come back here.
Lovely hotel, with a really lovely terrace right in front of the lake. Brissago is a charming village in Ticino, quiet and with great restaurants. (Recommend especially the partner restaurant, Kelea, co-owned by the hotel.) I found the hotel owners very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts on the terrace (if weather is nice) is a wonderful start to the day. Parking outside is very convenient.
Lovely hotel and beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast served on the balcony overlooking the lake was lovely. Breakfast was prepared and served with personal touch. Friendly and helpful staff. The Ticino card providing free public transportation and some discounts was a nice bonus. Few minutes walk to the ferry and restaurants.
The hotel is really charming and with some modern details. The breakfast was nice, well assorted, with a beautiful view.
Highlights:
- the attention of the owner, he is really attentive and charismatic, he makes you feel at home.
- cleanliness! Everything impeccable.
(Tip: Don’t miss out on the little patio on the 3rd floor).
Very warm welcome by Simone! We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful hotel on a perfect location in Brissago. The room was excellent with a great view on the lake and mountains. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with lots to choose from. In one word it was perfect we would definitely come back again 😍
Very nice location on a paradise island. Small hotel with a good restaurant and breakfast. The room was very nice with breathtaking views. In total the atmosphere was lovely, also in the evening and at night. Also possibility to swim in the lake.
Great stay with my family (2 young kids). Basically everything what you need is there, from a parking space to details in the kitchen. The host is very friendly, the place Brissago is a nice discovery and the views are amazing.
Good value stay in Brissago. Excellent breakfast - delish fresh breads and pastries with fruit, meat, cheese, yoghurt etc. This is a restaurant with a few rooms - dinner available at night and very tasty. Friendly hosts.
Lovely family run and owned boutique hotel, beautiful location in a small charming town with lots of nature, hiking, swimming nearby. Breakfast is entirely vegan and the homemade cakes were great!
