Very efficient and professional in the detail, with all modern facilities one expects from a top hotel, without any of the associated negatives! A fairly comprehensive breakfast where the owner took personal interest in your coffee, and brought fresh mint leaves from the garden to make your scrambled egg look prettier!! What more can you ask for?!
The owner speaks very good English she had picked up while living in Oxford, and is extremely helpful and cooperative!! Recommend without any hesitation!!

When i come to hotel there is no reception guys there( maybe because was 23.00 pm, but in rules information that before 00.00 i can check in)i have my password for online checking that Elite hotel writes ( it was 4581741020 and pin 8825) but i try to put this password to the computer what in front of the door ( around 10 times, and every time computer said-wrong numbers 😳) and me and my family stay on the street and cannot come inside, duo not right numbers password how computer writes 😳, but my money hotel took, i call to hotline, so many times, they not answering…….. or there problem In system in computer or I don’t know, we booked another room in this hotel ( online booking from this same computer) and pay’s again 135$ …. But for first booking i pay and can’t come inside, so we pay twice, please return one ( first payment password was 4581741020 pin 8825)payment

This Hotel City Weissenstein enjoys a peaceful location at the edge of the pedestrian zone of St. Gallen, close to the old town and the main railway station. Wi-Fi is available for free.
The guesthouse was beautifully constructed and looked like recently renovated. The original house is over 200 years old but interior looks new. Owners were very helpful and the room a wooden paradise. Breakfast extensive and hot food included. Centrally located for Appenzell day trips.
The staff was very friendly and nice, the room was very nice and clean, it was wonderful to wake up to the smell of hay and the sound of stream flowing behind the hotel. There is a petting zoo few steps from the hotel.
