The Park Hotel is located in the large town of Puerto Limón. It has a terrace with wonderful ocean views, and some rooms also have sea views from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Our host was a great local family, food is prepared on site and fresh, about anytime you wanted to eat.
We picked this place due to it's location away from the main tourist area, but it was a short drive to many nice beaches and the "Sloth sanctuary" just down the road.
Our host Jose & Aturo made every day an adventure with suggestions for great local places and things to do, and his wife was the chef with breakfast ready to start the day.

Travelling though the country, exploring the best places to go for our travel channel Bakkerfeeling Adventures we make travel videos in each location. Puerto Limon is the cross point between the Caribbean coast and the rest of the country. It's a big city for Costa Rican standards and also has a very nice beach to visit. All is relatively close. The great thing about the hotel is the location.
The great thing about the hotel is the location. The beach is nearby. We rented a car and I have family there so I didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast because I was out most of the day. I did get to enjoy the pool and the scenery is breathtaking.

The only beach in Puerto Limón nearby the hotel is the Playa Bonita. We had a frightening experience of almost getting drowned because the was no guidance about the rip currents all over the shore. It is a sadly dirty place, with trash and garbbage everywhere. There is not much to see there. Better using your time in Cahuita or Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, instead.
There was a problem with the Waze link in the e-mails I received. It led me to completely different property and I was unable to find the Casa Marina establishment. I had to have the taxi driver take me to a different hotel. When I found the number of the couple who rent out the house, I explained the situation and they refunded my fee immediately after our conversation. I will definitely try again the next time I need to go to Limón, Costa Rica. Thank you!
The location is incredible. It’s a few miles from crazy, busy Limon. It’s quiet, has a pool, snacks, restaurant, and you can step right onto the beach. The beach is gorgeous.
There are two friendly, an well-behaved hotel dogs. One of them walked a few miles on the beach with us.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. Air conditioning worked great! The property feels tucked away and private.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Older hotel, nice grounds, didn’t use pool as traveling through. Restaurant food and breakfast was good. Nice view of Caribbean from room 149. English TV, a first for us after three weeks in Costa Rica. Only booked Limon for the canal tour which isn’t available if criuze ships aren’t in. Didn’t get the tour as they cancelled last minute. Beware!! Good AC.
The hotel is really nice and clean.
It was maintained and the garden looked nice.
So nothing like in the earlier commands.
The hotel is a little remote so the best is to come by car. Save parking onside.
The beach could have better maintained but is nature that's taking over, not trash.
The pool was clean and really nice, pool towels are provided.
Hotel Playa Westfalia is right next to the Ocean. Beautiful property and well maintained. Pool is good sized and clean. Rooms are very nice. Several choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food made to order and very delicious. Staff is attentive and very friendly. Love the 2 dogs and one cat at the property. Great value.
We had driven from San José, after flying in from Lima, Perú and arrived very hungry and tired. The owner helped us to order some food, which was much appreciated, and recommended us to go to the neighbouring hotel for breakfast the next morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was also nice
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting with what feels like a private beach. It was very quiet and secluded without very many people. The staff was helpful and friendly. We saw a sloth while eating at the restaurant in the hotel. Water in the room was warm and it had air conditioning.
Fantastic staff!!! Everyone was super accomodating and extremely helpful (5 stars for staff). The room was spacious but no frills. Nice outdoor pool. The food was just ok but the breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a lovely and quiet beach near Limon.
Simply a room by the sea: no meals were included but were available a short (10 minute) walk up the road to a (relatively expensive) hotel restaurant. The room itself was spacious although the decor of it (and the rest of the hotel) rather aged.
The hotel is great! Right at the beach! The owner is so friendly, helpful and kind! We would love to stay longer but we had to go.. The room is big and relax, clean and neat. They also have good Wifi. Thanks for having us🙌🏼
Very nice apartment and room in Puerto Limon, squeaky clean and furnishings very comfortable. The communication with the hosts was great as well. Very good price value, and a good choice if one is staying a few days here.
Nice location. Very nice staff. The hotel has obviously seen better days and at one time was most likely a very nice resort. Food was good in the restaurant, breakfast likewise.
