In an overly modern city it was nice to be in an old-fashioned historic hotel right opposite the famous church. I arrived after midnight but they had an excellent system for me to pick up the key in the middle of the night. Even if your room does not have a view, you can sit on the balcony from the upper floor where you have the best view of the old church.

I have been to Larnaca many times, primarily visiting friends and colleagues for a local Christian charity. Nothing is very far away in Larnaca, it has the castle and St. Lazarus Church, and is ideal for day trips to Limassol, Nicosia, Ayia Napa and Paphos. There is also a bus service to the airport.

Larissa is an interesting city with lots of facilities.
Larissa is an interesting city with lots of facilities. I shopped at the market and mini supermarkets and ate at the local restaurants and cafes. I loved the beaches the walk to McKenzie along the promenade or through the old Turkish quarters. The intercity buses are great as are the local buses. Buy a movement card and travel cheaply. My favourite cafe is Gregorys I like the Kebab Hut, the Lebanese restaurant has the most delicious food as does Takis.

Larnaca has been home from home for the last 30 years.
Larnaca has been home from home for the last 30 years. Everything you need is there and very convenient for the airport. You do not need a hire car if you are in the centre, Finikoudes or Piyale Pasha areas. Excellent choice of restaurants, snack bars etc. Good shopping and ample supermarkets / corner shops for the self catering. There is something for everyone, regardless of age.

Larnaca is a working town rather than an out and out tourist resort, although it has all the facilities that tourists need. This means that it is good for out of season visits. It has a great, well planned seafront and nice sandy beaches. The international airport is very close to the centre and is well served by public transport.
The hotel is not a 5* by any means but for the amount we paid it was exceptional value. The pool and the pool area were very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a very nice balcony overlooking the pool. The location worked vey well for us - it's easy access to the airport, the beach is nearby and a nice little restaurant, and parking was very easy. The area was quiet and felt safe and it was a pleasant walk to the downtown core when we wanted to.
The room was clean. The hotel facilitated shuttle service from the airport for an additional cost based on my request. The hotel also very kindly received a package on my behalf prior to my arrival. Maha was responsive and reachable via whatsap and was able to accommodate the needs for my stay. The hotel is good for a layover in Larnaca as it is close to the airport and also allows you access to the beach at 7min walking distance.
Hotel is a few minutes from Mackenzie Beach, in a residential area. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very good value, simple and unfussy. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size, and the shower (and bed) were the best we've had from many stays in and around Larnaca in recent years (we visit family very regularly). Parking around the hotel is easy. The pool will be lovely in the summer.
Friendly and helpful staff, organized perfect taxi service for 4 am. Room was clean and spacious enough. Location is excellent, old Turkish quarter, for sure best part of Larnaca to stay. Very close to the beach too. We had nice small balcony as well. There is no breakfast but you can have water, tea or snacks 24/7 free of charge in the kitchen. Try to bakery next to the hotel!
We literally loved this accomodation. It's more than enough for 2, and you can find everything you could ever need there, and the host is great too. He even checked on us while we were staying there to make sure that we were happy. Hands down, one of the best accomodations we had in Cyprus, close to the center, but not too close, nice view from the terrace and quiet area.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Cannot fault this hotel, great location to beach, shops & also offers a taxi service to and from airport. 24hour convenience store attached to the hotel which is great and the breakfast was amazing! My go to stay for every trip to Cyprus now. Less than an hour away from Aiya Napa. Amazing overall!
Beautiful hotel, decor was stunning, service from all staff throughout was amazing. Lovely bedroom and bathroom. Roof top pool was wonderful and very good breakfast in the morning. Really cannot say a bad word. It’s also close to the beach so you had options. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if ever in Cyprus
I was just in Cyprus for a night. Alkisti was the perfect place to stay -- it's less than 10 minutes drive to the airport, and it's just a couple minutes walk to the beach, which is full of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel staff were super friendly. Indeed, everyone I met in Cyprus was nice :)
The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the beach, transport, and many restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend friends and family about this hotel when visiting Cyprus, Larnaka. And I would come back for sure to this hotel if I’m visiting Cyprus, larnaka again!
Great location in the Larnaca city center and just a few minutes of walk to the beach. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby, quite building with an elevator with all the amenities you need for a holiday in Cyprus. Easy communication with the host. Good wi-fi connection.
The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the room was very comfortable. It was the best bed in terms of comfort that we had during our Cyprus trip. The hotel was very clean and fresh feeling. The cafe was delicious but a bit pricey compared to other options.
The hotel was clean, Preparing delicious breakfast . The location was OK. About 10 minutes walking to the beach. their parking was outside front of the hotel. The best things make us happy one of the bar employee his name Omer was so kind.
Location is great. Easy to find, to park. Easy to walk to Salt lake and Pattichio park. The other way easy to walk the seafront. Next door is the best Fish & Chips in Cyprus. Great view of Larnaca - and apartment is super nice.
Great Breakfast in a cosy and friendly environment. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in three different hotels during our trip to Cyprus and this was by far the best experience we had! Would recommend 10/10
Delicious breakfasts.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Location - next to Mackenzie Beach. Also good location for car travel. It's close to eastern part of Cyprus with multitude of beaches, Nikosia, Limassol.
Amazing location, close to everything.
The staff was very helpful and friendly.
There are many tours that you can book via the hotel.
If i'm ever coming back to Cyprus it's definitely to this hotel.
The staff was super-friendly. Clean, comfortable, recent and fancy. Best location - all restaurants, shops and tourist sites closely located to the hotel (4 min to beach and boardwalk).
