Right in the middle of the old mountain town and beach town and conveniently located close to the highway exit. Great sea views from our balcony. Traditional decor that was charming. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and was pleasantly surprised how good the food was… outstanding. Ample parking. Quiet in the evenings.

B&B the lost Village el Acebuchal, hotel in Frigiliana

B&B the lost Village el Acebuchal in Frigiliana provides accommodations with free bikes, a bar, and a shared lounge. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a swimming pool.

Luc, the innkeeper, is quite the character and a great cook. You can order dinner or not but I recommend you do get it. A great meal at a great price. He directed us to an awesome hike nearby then drove us to the start, along with 2 other guests. We didn't have to move our car on a very busy Sunday which made finding parking very difficult. There are many trails nearby, and great views from nearly all. And the inn has a dog, Merche, who is happy to get scratches, for us dog-lovers missing their own pooch.

Villa Sunshine Countryside Resort, hotel in Frigiliana

Villa Sunshine Countryside Resort is a recently renovated guest house in Frigiliana where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath, and garden.

The villa's location is amazing with an even more amazing view of the mountains and Frigiliana. The hosts are two very nice people and they were there to help at any moment and made sure everything was good. The villa was very clean as well as the pool and pool area, and the food was more than delicious. All in all, we felt like home at villa Sunshine and left the place contemp and with many amazing memories. We would definitely go back there In the future.

A pretty village with plenty of shops and particularly good restaurants.. Stunning views. good access to motorway so travelling around is easy, but also has walking trails. Close enough to the coast for beach lovers, although the beaches are grey and gritty.

A beautiful village with opportunities for hiking and more gentle walks. Rich history to be discovered for the curious. I walked in the canyon to the east of the village and hiked up to Pinto de Cruz - a nearby hill with exceptional panoramic views. Also enjoyed a walk up to the remains of the Muslim castle above Frigiliana, which also had amazing views. I didn't eat out but I enjoyed an aperitif with olives and cheese in a friendly bar in the village most evenings.

Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco.

Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco. The town is inland and fairly high up...but it's an easy drive to get there. Frigiliana is full of history with tiny winding car free streets, surrounded by gorgeous views and pine trees and deep ravines. There are beautiful churches, gorgeous restaurants and loads of small tucked away pubs. I recommend taking the footpath to the top of the hill behind the village...if you're fit and able and have a head for heights....some parts have a sheer drop. You will walk through amazing flora. The top has a ruined castle built by the Moors around 700AD, and incredibly they installed a hydraulic water system taking spring water down to the village. Walking back down takes you through beautiful gardens with incredible flowers....finally arriving at a beautiful bar with incredible views of the mountains and sea.

A beautiful little town wjth plenty to do and nice bars and restaurants.Interesting local history and spectacular scenery. Some great walks around the town although it is hilly and if you have reduced mobility you could struggle a bit. Not too far from the coast and a regular bus service runs into Nerja too.A lovely place to stay if you don’t want a typical beach holiday.

Beautiful village. Beautiful architecture. Authentic Very steep! I was aware as I've travelled there before, but persons with limited mobility really need to be aware of this. Excellent choice of restaurants Attended the 'Three Cultures Festival'. It did get busy, but I expected this!

    Very picturesque village, very relaxing.

Very picturesque village, very relaxing. Lovely for strolling around especially the old town. Probably most suited to older couples who are not too bothered about hectic nightlife and are looking for some relaxation. Municipal pool and gym are convenient options and great value for anyone wanting to stay in shape while staying here. Note: Town is very hilly and steep and may be challenging for those with mobility and health issues.

Nicely decorated, spacious room. Our room had a cute sitting area by the window with a nice view towards the sunset. The roof terrace with pool was very nice and a good place to watch the sunset as well. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim in November but we enjoyed sitting up there in the afternoon. The area where we sat outside for breakfast was also very cute. The location is amazing, right in the middle of historic Frigiliana near many shops, restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location, wonderful apartment and lovely host. The views across the valley and hills from the apartment balcony were stunning. The apartment was well equipped, roomy and clean. It was right on the bus stop for Nerja and a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Frigiliana. We did some lovely walks up and down the valley from the apartment. We also had a great time on the beaches in Nerja which is a short 10 minute bus ride away We really enjoyed our stay.

It was even nicer than the photos, such a beautiful view and pool to enjoy an afternoon relaxing. I thought the walk to the main village was going to be much farther…it’s just down the street. We did it with our 18 month old multiple times a day. Dinner on our deck there was one of the highlights of our travels. You could see the lights of Frigiliana and the valley. Loved having extra space in the main living area, and the kitchen and laundry machine.

Lovely location, view and food was excellent. Rooms very unique and have all the comforts you'd expect from any hotel. Our room was private and veranda not overlooked by any other rooms. We were overlooking the main road but there was very little traffic so noise wasnt an issue. The view from the bedroom and veranda was amazing. Friendly helpful staff we encountered from the cleaning staff, kithen staff, waiters and owner.

Lovely room with great view. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you could wish for in a continental breakfast. At dinner a 3 course meal was 22 euros and portions were huge. So huge we only had 2 courses the second night and had starter lasagne as our main. Great food. Great location for visiting Nerva and Frigiliana (the latter being the most beautiful village I have visited in Spain)

Fantastic views over the hills and down to the sea. Only 10mins in the car to Frigiliana and about 20mins into Nerja the lost village el Acebuchel is just up the road from the villa. Ayo very accommodating, nice bottle of wine waiting on arrival. Lovely peaceful location and the sunrises and sunsets were stunning which also meant you get the sun all day on the terrace.

Location is very central but take into account many steps to reach the center of Frigiliana (bit difficult with luggage, you cannot get by car to the old part of the city and to the hotel). Room was very nice (a bit small , with sink in the bedroom). Pool is really cool and overall it was a very good experience
