Quite remote location but we liked that fact - plus it had been an historic flour mill.

A recently renovated apartment, Aromas del Jiloca offers accommodations in Calamocha.

The duplex was spacious and well equipped, and the master bedroom gives way to a big terrace to enjoy the weather over dinner. The temperature of the whole place was also very pleasant. We were also welcome with some magdalenas (small muffins), milk and coffee capsules. Really nice. It also had an extra locker room where we put our bikes.

A small village surrounded by agriculture.

A small village surrounded by agriculture. I had miscalculated my journey and I needed to stay two nights in one location. I chose Bordeaux but on reflection wish I had stayed here! It would have been nice to have a complete day to walk the local designated trails with my dog. This is definitely one for future travels. Nice bar/cafe and very easy to order a light breakfast before onward travel.
