Spacious room. We liked having access to outside sitting area and picnic tables and lime and lemon trees. Great on site parking. Shower had excellent water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Management was courteous, and efficient. We enjoyed his humour.
Salas has a lot of potential as a town. It´s got a river that goes through it and very lovely people. It even has great connections with the SANTIAGO CAMINO.
I guess it could improve on accessibility as it isn´t the easiest to get to if you have no car due to limited bus schedules.

Although there were a couple of cafe bars very close by there was absolutely no noise late at night, it was very quiet and we slept well.
Salas is a good, clean small town with a sufficient amount of shops to supply you with your basic requirements whilst on holiday.
If we had the opportunity to stay longer than one night I'm sure we would have found out that there were many more shops and facilities available.
We liked Salas and the shop keepers and people in general were very friendly.
We would love to go again for a longer visit.
Fantastically located at the end of the town of Salas and a short walk to the main square. Open parking in front of the hotel but very safe, even for our motorcycles. The owner could have done any more for us, absolutely a genuine person. We stayed a few nights and had some friends who were vegetarian and almost every night we had bespoke cooked meals that were not on the menu. Such a great experience staying here with a very personal touch. Will be sure to return.
everything! It is a well-maintained Facility with extensive woodwork and a traditional feel. It is set in a semi rural area surrounded by farms and situated about 1.5 km from Salas. The personnel were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are available for purchase and were delicious and complete. There is Luna, a friendly and people loving outside dog. This is a wonderful place to stay especially for those completing the Camino stage from Grado.
The grounds are beautiful with stunning views. The hotel is decorated with lots of love and attention to detail. Friendly happy animals visit you. The family that owns it is lovely and accommodating. The pilgrims menu was delicious and served in a lovely setting. We stayed in a a double room. It was the best sleep we’ve had since we started walking. Good coffee in the morning. Highly recommend. They also have a washer you can use.
In the middle of town, bars and restaurans just around the corner. Spacious rooms with a wonderful wiew. I heard cowbells outside my Window (in the center of town)Absolut clean. We walk the camino Primotivo and nobody has heard about this little hotel. We talk to a man who run the albergue and he had never heard about this place. We were alone and we dont understand why. Very nice owner.
This hotel / hostel was one of our favorites on the Camino Primitivo. We stayed on the hotel side, but a friend staying in the hostel side stated that those accommodations were excellent as well. Location is off the main road providing solace and quietude. It is along the Camino route, however. The food was spectacular, especially the pork medallions. Highly recommend this hotel!
Perfect location on the Camino Primitivo Path- just short of Salas at what we thought was a perfect place to rest.
Service was Amazing- family run business who really care about their guests
Very chill environment with comfy outdoor chairs- great meals- laundry- very nice beds.
This was our favorite place to stay on our Camino.
The breakfast had fresh bread with butter and jam. However, there was very little cheese and ham. Well fresh and delicious, we have had stays at other places with many more quantity and options they were included with the room as opposed to at this hotel, where breakfast was an extra charge.
Location is great for Camino Primativo, right in the heart of Salas. The owner/staff lady was very nice and professional. The break room is nice, shower is really good, nice simple breakfast to get you on the road. For the price, overall it does the job, the breakfast was a nice surprise.
The owner was super friendly and available. The room was big and confortable, the WC is shared with other 2 rooms but it was totally OK considering the price we paied! It's in the center of Salas, but easy to park the car nearby. Everything was really good, we fully recommend this place!
The inn is located just before Salas, right on the CP. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It had a lovely little patio that overlooked their property.
Communal dinner was a lot of fun and the food was good. Breakfast also quite good.
The Figal is so charming! It took me completely by surprise. it’s right on the Camino Primitivo before you reach Salas. ( about 4 kilometers before). Dinner was delicious too served in one sitting- easy to get to know other guests.
The hotel is brand new and extremely clean. A lovely night rest for whoever is doing the Camino. The bathroom is AMAZING. My friend stayed in the Albergue part and was also very happy with his stay!
The hotel was really charming, very traditional with a gorgeous inner courtyard. Staff were kind and super helpful, especially in the restaurant which was also very good and tasty food.
very nice and comfortable hotel, where everything was stylished in very nice design
owner was very pleasant and helpfull
you can sit close to fireplace and get really good local coffee
Beautiful property. Thoughtfully laid out for guests to enjoy. It was a perfect Camino stop for us—they had everything!—with no need to go in to Salas.
