We loved this hotel. The hotel is a labour of love of the owners who have built a stunning and elegant property. It has beautiful rooms with quality linens for a most restful sleep. The breakfast is excellent. The views, garden and pool area are magnificent. We stayed two nights and had dinner both nights in their restaurant that we found superb in every way, from the menu and quality of cuisine to the selection of wines. The staff are friendly and helpful. Smiles and good energy. There are lovely towns and beaches a short drive away and a map is provided that is very helpful. But it is nice to come back to the peace of the hotel. Grateful to have met and had a fascinating and memorable conversation with the owner, Ana. Would return here without hesitation and plan a longer stay next time. We remain grateful for our stay at Sindhura Hotel.🙏

Great location in the old part of town. Large comfortable room all beautifully appointed. The bathroom was very luxurious we had a beautiful view and a lounge area with a bar to enjoy a complimentary drink and coffee/tea( with something sweet) The restaurant was amazing for dinner and the complimentary breakfast was delicious in the most gorgeous garden settings. It's a lovely, small boutique hotel. Location is great (walking distance to the center) and they are pet friendly. Breakfast was ok.. traditional Spanish breakfast (bread, ham, cheese and tomato, pastries and few warm options). Free tea & coffee during the day.
In the heart of Medieval Vejer de la Frontera, Hotel La Casa del Califa features a rooftop bar-terrace with beautiful views. Unique facilities include a map room and an award-winning restaurant.

Few things not perfect, but overall good. Sense was better in the past.

It was a lovely peaceful area. Room and bathroom was very clean, although there was a musty smell in the room.
Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
I did need to work while I was there and the wifi was really poor so I wouldn't recommend if you need to do meetings online.

Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia.
Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia. An excellent tour can be purchased on Voicemap for less than 6 Euros. It is filled with a wealth of history and culture of Vejer. The App works amazingly well allowing us to browse a shop that we came across and then continuing after we left the shop. The guide is Carlos Milburn. Unless one has mobility issues the car can be parked and visitors can walk through the town throughout their stay. There are many restaurants, cafes, etc. to choose from. Be aware of holidays when visiting Vejer as all the shops, etc shutter. Except for peak tourist season even the restaurants might not be serving food on a holiday.

The place is beautiful and there was a Jazz Festival during our visit. Parking the car was challenging, but our hotel offered us a taxi from the parking lot when we arrived. If you have health problems with your feet, I cannot recommend this city. Lots of steep hills, which are dangerous even for young people in the rain. The food was tasty and the people everywhere were really friendly!

Vejer de la Frontera is great for people wanting to chill out and just hang out in a peaceful place. It has many hills and stairs wherever you go, so grab comfortable shoes and some water, but it's worth it. Everyone is super friendly, and they don't mind helping you when you ask. It's not for the ones looking for parties and crazy nightlife, that's for sure. But if you want to relax and reflection, then this is the perfect place for it.

We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic.
We love this cute town... the views from it are fantastic. There are many cute gift shops with clothes, wicker, jewellery, pictures, pottery, etc. There are a lot of shops selling artists' handicrafts, we could have spent a lot of money there! The restaurants are excellent with really gorgeous food, we definitely recommend Corderra 55. We visited Conil de la Frontera (17 minutes away) with a lovely beach. Also Zahara de los atunes and Barbate are only 20 minutes away. We will go back!

One of the most beautiful and historic towns I have stayed in.
The village is located on the top of the hill with every building painted white.
This location has been settled since at least the Bronze Age and has more recent Moorish and Christian architecture.
It is a quiet and picturesque town with nice restaurants.
The views from the village are beautiful overlooking the surrounding plains. It is close to some spectacular and quiet beaches.

This is the best location in Vejer de la Frontera. The building is in the heart of Old Town and very close to a free, public car park. The views from the terrace are absolutely outstanding. The host Willy will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is in enjoyable. The place is spotless and it has really nice touches. The cave and roof terrace areas are also brilliant. The bathing pool was empty but this is easily fillable using the fast water tap. Thank you for making it a great stay for us we will be back!
Luxury but simple, loved all the nice details of the room, the property is stunning, the garden, the staff is so welcoming and lovely, Alexandra, Jessica, Isabellle and Amria were lovely!! I had a crush on the Chef: Connie, she is simply amazing, loved her food but also the lovely discussions we had, she recommended a restaurant for our next day because the kitchen was closed (wedding season). Make sure you have dinner available at least once during your stay, the food is stunning 👌🏼
Very quiet, excellent location and beautiful decoration, white walls and Arabic tiles. Specially beautiful are the tiles in the shower and around the wash basin. The one-room apartment has been recently renovated and is by a lovely patio full of flowers.
Once you go for a walk you realise you’re in the best possible part of Vejer de la Frontera, right in the middle of the Jewish quarter, in the historical area. Two of the ancient wall arches lead almost directly to the apartment.
This place is stunning! It couldn’t be nicer and I really miss it already.
I love every single detail. The toiletries, the room service, local restaurant and Hammam. The breakfast. The decor is second to none. Everything has been considered. It’s a beautiful and gorgeous little hotel. We truly loved it.
Lovely small hotel in a great location with a beautiful little courtyard in the middle where we had breakfast each morning. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great - everywhere is within walking distance. Comfy beds and lovely big soft towels in the bathroom. Great place to stay.
Casa Aura is a lovely little boutique hotel. Great location, the beautifully restored historic property with a lot of character and stunning views over the surrounding countryside. We loved Vejer de la Frontera and we loved staying in this beautiful casa. We will be back for sure! :)
It was a little hard to locate the hotel based on the email confirmation’s address, but the hotel sent a message when I didn’t arrive at my anticipated time providing the exact address which was great! Comfortable room and friendly staff with great parking!
Great location, great Spanish/Moorish style hotel on several levels. In house restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Small artsy town with easy car access. Enjoyed the small patio off our room.
Easiest check-in and check-out process I've experienced on this two-week trip in Spain, where it is common to undergo extended bureaucratic processes for everything surrounding hotels, car rentals, flights, etc.
Good value for money. Plentiful parking lot a bit further down the street, friendly hotel and restaurnat staff, tasty food (we had dinner & breakfast) in the adjacent restaurant.
The location of the property was fantastic, all of the staff were so friendly, the restaurant was amazing. The views from the rooftop of the hotel were beautiful.
You get what you pay for. Very friendly staff. Went out of their way to help us. The place is no five start hotel but it was very clean and unpretentious
