Quality of the room and excellent bathroom. Very clean and 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city where we explored the tapas bars. Had motorcycle parking in secure garage but only for 1 bike. ( check with hotel if needed). Cooked breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon was good.

Good to visit for an overnight stay. Easily see the attractive old buildings and shopping district in one day. Seems to be poor for restaurants /tapas bars but maybe those closed when I visited opened at other times.

This is a beautiful city with plenty of lovely buildings to see. It is pleasant to walk along the banks of the Duero. The tapas Bars are wonderful. Brilliant, innovative tapas which are great value accompanied with the local red wine.

Still a bit of a hidden gem.
Still a bit of a hidden gem. The historic city is beautiful and old. The view over the river and land is amazing. It's a provincial Castillian town, very authentically Spanish. Very easy to get around on foot. The food is excellent and affordable. Calle de los Herreros is where you find great bars with tasty dishes.

Well worth a visit for a few days.
Well worth a visit for a few days. We only stayed one night which wasn't really long enough. Two or three nights would have been better.
There are lots of historic buildings in Zamora, the Cathedral and castle on top of the hill probably being the most notable buildings with great views.
Lot of local restaurants and bars. Fantastic local wines.

For me, Zamora was the first Spanish city I had visited that was not overrun by foreign tourists. In fact in the two daysI was there I only heard about a half a dozen people speaking anything but Spanish. It has a treasure trove of Romanesque architecture and also of early twentieth century architecture, lovingly preserved and maintained, not for the purpose of harvesting visitors' euros, but because the community deems it worthwhile. One of my best memories of my visit was being able to wander through the narrow, twisting streets of the old city from open square to square in the company of only a handful of local people. It was indeed the first time in five visits to Spain that I felt I was visiting an unadulterated Spanish city.

We visited in November… Spain is cold and wet at this time so the town seems of course wintery. We walked to old town … it would be spectacular in good weather. It would be a good summer place to visit.
The hotel is nice and clean, and the reception welcomes the guests with free coffee, water, and snacks, very kind and makes the guests feel really special. The room is normal size, and the bathroom also, the bed are very comfortable. Not within walking distance of the old city, but we were traveling by car so no issue. Very nice small bars and coffee shops exactly opposite, with very good menus and low prices
Location in heart of historic medieval town couldn't be better!. Room was large with generous sized bathroom, imaginatively created out of a 16th century building with beautiful courtyard. Staff kind and helpful, desk staff spoke good English, most others had some English and tolerated our attempts to communicate in tourist Spanish. Large pool is a delight in hot weather.
Everything was great! The location and the amenities/appliances in the flat are great -we were there one night only, but still. The owner, Olympio, is DA BEST: so welcoming! If you speak Spanish or at least understand it, you're gonna make the best of it: Olympio and his family even prepared a brochure and provide books on the history and main attactions in Zamora.
The host Óscar was very nice, helpful and flexible. He explained us the city, recommended great places. Thanks to him we enjoyed Zamora like locals.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. The cute patio was airy and very comfy. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere.
We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
This was a real gem of a hotel. It is located on the edge of the Old Town within sight of the bridge. It is an old converted building with loads of old world charm and many traditional Spanish features - including an internal courtyard. The rooms were perfect, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after us well.
Gloria was there to meet us at the agreed time of 3.00pm. The apartment was sparkling clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our overnight stay in Zamora. Gloria was also able to provide us with a great recommendation for a bar/restaurant across the river (lovely walk) looking back on the Old Town which was fantastic!
We booked last minute and it was an amazing place. Just inside the city walls and a few minutes walk from the greatest tapas corner. the reception was lovely — showed up just 5 min after we called. Very comfortable and spacious. We would certainly stay again!
The apartment was in an excellent location in the heart of the old town. It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There was a generous stock of breakfast food and fruit, with milk and fruit juice. The host, Emma was pleasant and very helpful.
The location close to the train station and grocery stores was great.
The front door is easy to miss because the sign is small.
Staff was very nice.
Room was clean, although spartan.
Kitchen just a microwave and refrig. Only one mug for coffee.
Even though no one spoke English we communicated well through translation. They were at the desk when we arrived and got us checked in with no problems. Hotel was quiet and clean. The room had everything we needed.
