The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Nor. Great location, close to all Rioja area bodegas and wine destinations. Loved the vibe: clean, modern hotel that was very manageable; not a big "mega" American-style chain hotel. Especially enjoyed the outside terrace for wine and coffee; loved the vibe and fact that locals co.e by and enjoy it too. Will definitely recommend it to friends: great value and greT location. And staff.

Great rustic hotel with excellent location in Haro. Friendly staff and good food as well, both breakfast and dinner.
The Hospederia Señorío de Casalarreina is a great place to stay while exploring the Rioja Region.

Though not the easiest place to get to it was possible to leave the car not far away. The reception was friendly and efficient and both reception area and bedroom had a lot of character. We were less enthusiastic about the bathroom for, though of a good size and impeccably clean, the only partly operative jacuzzi unit took up a disproportionate amount of space. A restaurant was proposed to us little more than five minutes' walk away and it proved excellent for an evening meal whilst even closer bars and cafes were also available. Breakfast at the hospederia was not memorable and, in terms of value for money, we felt that the overnight stay was only average but it is extremely well located within an interesting little town.
Offering a restaurant and a free private parking on-site, Hostal El Botero is located in Cuzcurrita-Río Tirón. It has easy access to the N-232 highway leading to any part of La Rioja.
Unlike many other stays in more conventional hotels, this palace shows an exceptional charm reminiscent of the last centuries, although perfectly rehabilitated to provide the best comfort.
About the owners, the friendly treatment makes you feel like in your own family to ask, and be well informed, about sites, events and tours of beautiful places in La Rioja.
Undoubtedly a place to be remembered with pleasure and to return without any doubt.
No immediate access on arrival but a telephone call to the number on the door elicited a response within seconds. Excellent, large, comfortable and stylish bedroom and equally good bathroom. High quality evening meal (from 21.00) and genuinely outstanding breakfast. Zarraton itself has little going for it but, by car, it's only minutes away from the much more interesting Haro in one direction and Santo Domingo in the other.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s a lovely restoration and is tastefully decorated. Our room was large and well,p appointed. It was extremely comfortable. We were walking the Camino de Santiago when we stayed. The owner accommodated our need for an early breakfast (it was a very nice breakfast) and departure brilliantly! We will absolutely stay again.
well what can I say! a beautiful hotel, set in lovely grounds, staff were great, as were the surroundings inside, the bedroom was fantastic, we didn't stay for evening meal but the menu looked very inviting, breakfast was made fresh for you, and there was plenty of other items to choose from. I would defiantly recommend, you get a hell of a lot for your money.
Very small hotel located in à 16th century palace restorated and furnished with à lot of taste. Cleanliness is rallye faultless, rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed. Restaurant is very good, offering delicious spanish dishes: yummy octopus. Staff is also very helpful and friendly. Excellent stay then and some outstanding value for monétaire.
Beautiful hotel, in a typical Spanish village. Excellent room and lovely staff, a real find. The best breakfast for a great start to the day. Highly recommend a stay here, it felt more like visiting friends than staying in a hotel.
Excellent hotel characterful setting food in the restaurant t dinner and breakfast was very good and the room inc breakfast was great value .
Will stay again 👍
