It was a great place to stay after a long (24 hour) travel. It is so close to the airport. The view of the ocean when we woke up was beautiful! The apartment had what we needed for our stay—kitchen was well stocked with some staples and had the basics covered for dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable.

Hotel Hafnia is in Torshavn’s Old Town, right on the main street, Áarvegur. It offers free in-room Wi-Fi. Guest rooms feature a mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom with shower.

Location was perfect for exploring the area around the waterfront. We could walk to ferry restaurants, churches, fort. A little crazy to get to in middle of "downtown" area. You have to park in public lot about 3 blocks away. You have to set a clock on your car to show when you got to lot, then you have hours free parking. But you don't have to pay overnight...a little confusing but we basically never had to pay to park.
