Very friendly owners who had great recommendations on where to eat and drink. Very knowledgeable about local champagne houses. Just off the main avenue so very walkable for Epernay.

First ones to check in post a significant refurbishment so some finishing touches still needed to be added.
Much needed update is complete and this will remain a first class hotel.
This 19th-century mansion, now a 3-star hotel, is set in Epernay city center, in the Champagne-Ardenne region. It offers classically elegant guest rooms and a garden with a terrace.

This is our second time in Champagne during the summer.
This is our second time in Champagne during the summer. Avise is a very calm and authentic place. Very close to Epernay but quieter. Wonderful views. Nice option for short easy walks. A very nice bar close by was a plus. The bakery in the village was super!

Pretty and very quiet village, with at least 2 Champagne Houses open for visitors. It was a great base for driving around the Route de Champagne, which is a great way to discover the tiny villages that dot the countryside in this area. A must do is to visit the hilltop above the village -find the giant bottle pouring 'champagne' into a glass -for views over the village and others, and has small water filtration ponds -prettier than it sounds! A downside is no nearby restaurants or cafés-except maybe one very high end one, and a takeaway pizza joint.- we tried neither. We enjoyed very quiet strolls after dinner we cooked ourselves in our accomodation. A car is an absolute necessity here.
