The Originals City, Hôtel de Bordeaux, Bergerac (Inter-Hotel), hotel in Bergerac

The Originals City, Hôtel de Bordeaux, Bergerac (Inter-Hotel) offers a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and an outdoor swimming pool. It is in a peaceful setting near Bergerac’s historic old town.

The hotel is clean but must have been renovated long long time ago. The rules are correct and clean really not very stylish. The pool area was very nice. The hotel is located in three minutes walking distance to the centre which is very convenient. We also like the fact that for €10, we had a secure parking spot. The hotel looks more like a one or two star hotel

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit.

The historic town of Bergerac is a great place to visit. Lots of interesting architecture and local culture to explore. There is quite a big street market held once or twice a week. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. A very welcoming tourist destination.

    The town is beautiful.

The town is beautiful. There are many shops, and beautiful architecture everywhere you look. There are some of the finest restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The people everywhere are very friendly and everyone seems happy. It was like walking around in a painting. It was unforgettable.

Beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings. Nice bars and restaurants. We found opening times of restaurants and shops unpredictable. Enough to do for a few days. Nice river trip and prebooked taxi from airport was convenient.

So many things to see and do in the area.

So many things to see and do in the area. Bordeaux and Burgundy get lots of press for their wines. The surrounding vineyards of the Bergerac region are superb and accessible. They wine you sample ranges from good to out of this world; the stories you hear at each vineyard are full of the passion the people convey about their work and the results. In addition, the cultural sites were fun with many to choose from. Our only concern is that we traveled in early October. Some sites change or close at that time. Their websites weren't up to date so we showed up to several only to find them closed for the season.

A wonderfully set village on a picturesque river. The bridge is beautifully lit at night. Several great dining options and the local wine selections are very good and affordable. The people of Bergerac were kind and welcoming.

Beautiful small old town in SW France.

Beautiful small old town in SW France. No hustle and bustle of a large city which made for a very relaxing stay. Close to numerous wineries and other destinations for a day visit. There is ample parking very close to the town centre (400+ places, and free!). Park the car and walk! Highly recommend this picturesque town and neighbouring region for a short visit.

Fabulous airy annex apartment within a stunning rural setting. Beautiful, tranquil extensive garden which was perfect after a long drive & explored thoroughly by our dog. Our hosts were amazing & nothing was too much trouble. Located within a lovely strolling distance from the centre of Bergerac. The breakfast at Maison Aubergerac is exceptional. Served on the patio area and all local produce. Cheese, meat, pate, fruits, breads & preserves - an absolute feast of delight. Definitely a 10/10 experience. Superb 👍

It's an easy walk from the station and the centre of town and it also has a car park, so ticks all the boxes for location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, compact and nicely modernised rooms with a comfortable bed and smart renovated bathroom. Breakfast was good in a classic small French hotel way, with croissants, baguettes, jam, yogurt, fruit, cheese, coffee etc. All in all an excellent place to spend a night or two if you're in transit or paying a short visit.

Hotel newly built. Location for walking around good BUT almost impossible to get there with the car to unload. The guest I traveled is handicaped. They gave her a room at the top - even so the lady showed them the hadicap ID. The stairs are so small - no elevator or help with suitcase. Breakfast - not good at all. The staff not there or not speaking any of the common languages - French, English etc. Cannot recommend this hotel

Our hosts were delightful and the accommodation superb. If you are looking for exceptional facilities in Bergerac that is close to the city centre but in a green environment this is the place for you. The house is situated near a large green park with lake a few minutes walk away. Parking is safe and secure and the pool area and garden lovely. It would suit couples, adult groups or families. We highly recommend the villa.

We had an adequate continental breakfast. It was very convenient to have dinner that evening in the hotel - although a number of choices on the menu were not available that evening we still enjoyed our burger, salad & flies. The location was excellent for access to the railway station, free parking & a 10 minute walk into the old town area. A comfortable bed & quiet room.
