Beautiful location, beautiful cuisine, friendly staff. One of the best evening meals I have ever had in France.

The property is incredible! The grounds are well kept with lovely landscaping and gardens. I loved seeing the goats in their separate yard in the mornings, hearing roosters in the distance, and the chirping birds in the mornings. So much to love about the environment! Jean Marc and David have done an amazing job with caring for and renovating the property. There is plenty of outdoor seating in various settings outside to eat or lounge and read - or just to enjoy the gorgeous views all around!
The stone house is lovely and renovated with pretty and clean rooms and perfectly clean, new bathrooms with great water pressure. Breakfast every morning was superb with homemade bread, croissants, applesauce, yogurt, and eggs when requested. Wonderful coffee and amazing fresh-squeezed orange juice made each morning.
Best of all, and it is hard to pick one thing, may well be the incredible hospitality provided by David and Jean Marc. Jean Marc was away but made sure to greet us over the phone, while David was there the whole time, tending to each guest with such warmth, kindness, and graciousness that one feels they have known him forever! I cannot find the words to speak highly enough of this special place and the owners who care tremendously for their property and their guests.
The location could not be better for visiting all the beautiful sights of Dordogne with wonderful close proximity to some of the best villages in France!
