a fine small chateau with connections to Andre Malraux. Recommended by Martin Walker, which is why we stayed there.
Very quiet. Breakfast good with apples and apple juice from the estate.

We loved the view. The rooms were clean and modern. For us, the best part was having delicious breakfasts out on the patio with the beautiful view of the Dordogne river and valley. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was a great spot from which to explore the area, including the beautiful ancient village of Limeuil. Would definitely recommend it!

Everything was exceptional. The place is very quaint from the outside and very comfortable inside. The place sits on top of a hill and provides an amazing view of the valley. It would be a great place to make a home base to see the entire Dordogne River valley which takes at least 2 days+. Jenny and Mack are great hosts and they made a delicious breakfast. I hope I get to come back and stay again.
