Absolutely fantastic stay. Sylvie, the host, was so lovely and an excellent chef, she made our stay so comfortable and was extremely giving and kind without being overbearing. We were recieved graciously and send off warmly.
This was a perfect vacation from our vacation in a more provincial part of France without being too far from civilization. The days were very warm and the pool was very cool and refreshing. The accomodations were very nice and even though there was no air conditioning in the room, and we stayed in late June, with very hot days, the room very was comfortable.

It felt homey but maybe because it was in a small town. Staff was very kind and welcoming.

The room with a small garden was very pleasant and clean. The breakfast area was also pleasant and the breakfast well served. A good value for money hotel to stay a night over.
Genay at this moment (end of April) is a sleepy town.
Genay at this moment (end of April) is a sleepy town. There was no bar open… however, a nice old castle was accessible for visitors… and a Casino Express (minimarket). Genay would be more vibrant at summer!
