Sophie welcomed us and showed us to our room, helping to carry our panniers. She immediately made us feel at home and graciously accommodated our request to cook up our supper outside on the patio; even going so far as to cook up our pasta and chill our wine. Laurent joined us from work about then and we had some good conversation. The bed was very comfortable; we both slept soundly all night. The shrubs around the property make it very quiet and private. The property was immaculately clean.

The location was perfect, just steps from the centre ville, the weekly market and the river. The bread and pastries for breakfast were wonderful. The garden was delightful. I had a small car and had no trouble parking in the space across from the Chambre d'Hôtes.

Guillaume and Corinne were excellent hosts. They greeted me warmly and could not have been more helpful. Having travelled by bicycle, being very hungry, and finding that most of the restaurants in the town were closed Corinne prepared for me a lovely dinner and brought it to my room. In the morning a delightful breakfast was delivered too. I was very happy to have been their guest.

The hosts were wonderful. We were traveling with friends to attend a wedding in Poudenas. This was the perfect location. A beautiful chateau in a scenic and peaceful countryside.
