Enough nice things cannot be said about this stop and our host. About an hour from Carnac and the ferries at St. Malo, what a great place to break up the trip. The quintessential French Country manor, we were greeted in the driveway by the Carline who deserves the Super-Host of ALL-TIME AWARD! The manor is everything you would expect it to be from the patterned tile baths, the ancient hardwoods fireplaces and wood beams. She has fields of flowers and walking paths through the gardens and farmland. Dining and shopping are only 10 minutes away in Josslyn. Rooms, beds and baths were all mega-comfortable. Setting was ultra quiet. Breakfast was to die for, fresh laid eggs, fresh baguettes, croissants, homemade jams and marmalade, fresh squeezed orange juice, it was beyond phenomenal. I want to go back again next year!

Bedroom very large with a big bathroom and fantastic views out to the river. The dining room was stunning and we had a lovely breakfast and evening meal shared with others

The quiet rural setting was what we were hoping for and since we self-catered we can't comment on places to eat out in. A car is necessary for all but the fittest and keenest walkers/cyclists. We only did a short walk in the early evening and the surroundings seemed very nice but if we could have stayed longer cycling around the very quiet lanes would be a lovely way to get around. The surrounding area seemed to be largely flat.
